Reverend Raymond Khallouf, Saint Maron, born in what is now modern Syria in the middle of the Parochial Vicar fourth century, was a priest-hermit, in the mountains north-west of Aleppo. His holiness, preaching and miracles attracted many people in Subdeacon Michael Maynes Syria and Lebanon to become his disciples. Accompanying his deeply spiritual and ascetic life, he was a zealous missionary with a passion to spread the message of Christ by preaching it to all he met. He sought not only to cure the physical ailments that people suffered, but had a PARISH OFFICE HOURS great quest for nurturing and healing the "lost souls" of both non- Christians and Christians of his time. Monday – Friday 9am – 4:30pm The Maronite movement reached Lebanon when Saint Maron's first disciple, Abraham of Cyrrhus, the “Apostle of Lebanon,” set out to introduce the pagans in that regions to the way of Saint Maron, who is revered as the Father of the Maronite Church. Today we celebrate the feast of St. Maron following the 11 am Divine Liturgy. We shall also honor Mrs. Barbara Parsley for her years of dedicated service to St. Anthony Church.

Ladies Lenten Retreat: St. Anthony’s ladies will have their Lenten retreat on March 30th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Auxiliary Bishop Denis Madden will be our speaker. Lunch will be provided by the men. The sign up sheet will be available in vestibule on March 3rd.

Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine. Each year Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine celebrates the Feast of the Assumption on August 15th. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the country participate in the pilgrimage in honoring the Mother of God. This year St. Anthony will sponsor a pilgrimage. We are going to put a signup sheet in the church vestibule. Please sign it if you are interested in more information. After we know approximate numbers, we can look into transportation and lodging.

Sacrament of Reconciliation. Because parishioners are not approaching the sacrament of confession on Saturday afternoons, Chorbishop John and Father Raymond are hearing confessions in the Chapel during the Divine Liturgy on Sunday. We are also available before or after the Divine Liturgy on Saturday morning. Of course, we can also have confession for those who make an appointment in advance.

Offertory Envelopes. The personalized offertory envelopes are available in the vestibule of the church. Please pick up yours. Please be so kind as to deliver offertory envelopes to people who live near you as it is too expensive to mail them out.
