G.R.A.C.E. Guide to Resources for Annual Campus Events Diversity Guide—South Region A Collaborative Project of the Regional Diversity Initiatives Coordinators NACA® Statement on Diversity Diversity is an attribute and a goal. As an attribute, diversity is ethnic identification/race, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, age, religion, economic status and the many other aspects of our lives which define the family of humanity. As a goal, diversity refers to the intentional valuing, respecting and inclusion of all peoples. NACA recognizes the diversity of all its members and supports the development and implementation of programs and services that achieve this goal. Diversity Initiatives Collaboration In support of NACA’s Statement on Diversity, the Diversity Initiatives Coordinators for all regions collaborated to produce Diversity Guides in each region to highlight diversity programs and activities offered by associate members who are exhibiting at the various regional conferences. This guide is modeled after previous efforts by Diversity Initiatives Coordinators in the Mid Atlantic and Northern Plains regions. As part of the dissemination actions proposed by the partners selected during FIWARE’s third call for new partners, the project was going to be actively introduced at various Campus Party events between 2013 and 2014. February 17, 2009 CULTURAL INGENUITY: STRENGTHENING THE MUSLIM AMERICAN IDENTITY Lena Albibi, B.A. Mentor: John L. Esposito, Ph.D. ABSTRACT Muslims in America must move beyond theological discourse and polemics to creating a dynamic apparatus that can promote indigenous and organic Muslim American culture and that accommodates ideological and cultural diversity. Muslims needs to move beyond attempting solely to correct their image and dispel stereotypes. While these are admirable goals, they cannot be the end goal for engaging in the creative arts, because such a narrowly defined, negative vision does not allow for an organic expression of the self. It is imperative that Muslims establish an artistic tradition in America, because to be an American Muslim is a creative process in itself. Laying the foundation for an expressive culture will ensure that Muslims celebrate their humanity and affirm their dignity, and they will then be free from having to define themselves in opposition to something else. In the shift to digital formats, we lost physical artifacts but gained data as a rich, but often hidden artifact of our music listening.     An Analysis of the Level of Concern Displayed Among the Malone University Undergraduate Student Body in Regards to their Online Personal Information Security Scott Markle Malone University; HON 496 December 1st, 2020 Advisor: Dr. Kyle Calderhead, Ph.D Submitted in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for Graduation from the Malone University Honors Program 0 Analysis of Online Personal Information Security Abstract The 21st century is one that is dominated by rapid technological advancements. Increased utilization of these technological betterments have created a multitude of security vulnerabilities. In this thesis, I assess the level of concern displayed among the undergraduate student population of Malone University, located in Canton, Ohio, in regards to the vulnerability of their personal online information. Nine questions, with focuses in cybersecurity scenarios, defense strategies, and threat response, were asked of participants in an online survey. From the quantitative results of these questions, trends were interpreted and conclusions drawn.
