Morphological,woodanatomicalandpalynologicalfeaturesofveryrarewhite-floweredspecimens ofRhododendronponticum L.werecomparedtothemaintaxaof Rhododendronponticum L.,withpurplish-pinkflowers,and Rhododendronxsochadzeae Charadze&Davlianidze,whichhasnearlythesamecoloredflowersandahairyovary.Thespecimens of Rhododendronponticum L.withwhiteflowerandanakedovary,collectedfromTurkey,werestudiedforthefirsttimefrom anatomicalandpalynologicalpointsofviewandweredeterminedtobeanaturalformofRhododendronponticum L.(Rhododendron ponticum L.subsp.ponticum formaalbum(Sweet.)Zab.).
