Page 1 Hudson River Greenway Trail Hudson River Valley Greenway Trails Greenway designated trails along the east and west banks of the Hudson River. This map shows parking areas for each trail. For additional information, contact the Trails Coordinator at (518) 473-3835. *Note: These trails have been designated by the Hudson River Valley Greenway as part of our trails system. The trails are neither owned nor maintained by the Greenway. If you see any dangerous spots along the trails please let us know. The information contained herein has been checked by us, but may contain errors. Please let us know if you find errors in our data points or descriptions. Hudson Crossing Park Trail (Saratoga County) Hudson Crossing Park Trail parking is located at Champlain Canal Lock 5. Trail Distance: 2.31 miles Surface: Shale, Soil, Grass and Wood chips Uses: Pedestrian, Fishing, Cross Country Skiing, and Pets are allowed Notes: Trails are open year round from dusk to dawn. Trail Distance: approx. 5 miles Surface: Crushed Stone, Soil & Grass Uses: Pedestrian, bicycling, cross-country skiing and pets are allowed. Notes: Historic Champlain Canal Trail (Saratoga County) Historic Champlain Canal Trail parking located off of Rt 4 & 32 on Brookwood Rd. Kline Plantasies Killitie Trail (Rensselaer County) Kline Plantasies Killitie Parking is located behind the Children's Museum in Rennsselaer's Tech Park. Trail Distance: 714-acre property with 3.5 miles of loop trails. Surface: Soil, Grass & Gravel Uses: Bike, Pedestrian, Cross Country Skiers, Snowshoeing, Hunting Notes: Owned by Open Space Institute and managed by the Columbia Land Conservancy. Trail Distance: 2.63 miles Surface: Concrete & Asphalt Uses: Bike & Pedestrian Notes: Trail begins at the Town Line on Woods Road. Travel south to Broadway. Take Broadway West to the River or East to Montgomery Street.
