PACIFIC VENTURES HIRES DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS FOR YAKIMA

Noel Zanchelli will take the lead for the inaugural season

Yakima, WA – Pacific Baseball Ventures, the group that was awarded a (WCL) franchise to begin play in Yakima for the 2014 season, has hired Noel Zanchelli (pronounced “zan-kelly”) to the be the first Director of Operations for the Yakima franchise. Zanchelli will oversee all day-to-day activities of the team in the Yakima market, including ticket sales, stadium operations, food and beverage and fan experience at Yakima County Stadium.

“Noel is a passionate, energetic and well-rounded professional who jumped at the chance to come to a market as vibrant as Yakima,” said PBV Chief Operating Officer Zachary Fraser. “His ability to provide best-in-class customer service, to work with a variety of talents and personalities, and his wide range of professional experiences, plus his love of the game of baseball, made Noel the right person for this important position.”

Mr. Zanchelli brings a wide range of professional experience to his new position. He is a former sports broadcaster and reporter for the and the official broadcasts. Mr. Zanchelli also worked as a sports reporter and anchor for Northwest Cable News and KSVI in Billings, Montana, KOLR in Springfield, MO and KIRO Radio and KIRO-TV in Seattle. He's worked in stadium operations at Safeco Field, and also served as a White House aide and a member of President George W. Bush's advance detail. A native of Seattle and a graduate of the University of Southern California, Mr. Zanchelli looks forward to developing the best fan and customer experience in the WCL.

Additional projects being spear-headed by Mr. Zanchelli include identifying stadium improvement projects that will both enhance the fan experience at Yakima County Stadium while also maximizing operational efficiencies. Pacific Baseball Ventures is preparing to release ticket plan information for customers who wish to purchase season tickets or ticket plans within the next two weeks in preparation for the 2014 season. The team brand is currently in development and will be announced during to the 2013 holiday season.

Yakima Baseball will release the full 2014 season schedule the week of December 9, which will include details of the WCL teams Yakima will play as well as the non-league schedule.
