Opportunities for experience and learning are everywhere, and it all begins with this book! Sincerely, Christopher Nesbitt President, Student Activities Board 02 W HA T IS T HE Act IVUS ? The Student Activities Board publishes the Activus as a service to the university community. Its purpose is to give a brief overview of the various campus organizations here at UC. The booklet provides a description of each of the currently registered student groups at UC and can be used as a resource throughout the year. As all student groups are not registered through the university, this is only a snapshot of the events and opportunities provided by the UC community. Involvement in student groups provides an excellent supplement to any academic curriculum and can prove to be a valuable asset in attaining future goals. The Student Activities Board hopes you will use this publication to become involved in the university by taking advantage of its diverse activities and groups.
