 A GAME IS PLAYED BETWEEN TWO TEAMS WITH  PLASTIC AND WOODEN BATS CAN BE USED. IT IS NOT MANDATORY FOR A MINIMUM OF EIGHT PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM. BATTERS TO WEAR PADS OR GLOVES. SUBSTITUTES MAY BE USED IN ANY COMBINATION PROVIDED THAT NO MORE THAN EIGHT  BATTING PAIRS BAT FOR TWO OVERS. PLAYERS REMAIN BATTING INDIVIDUALS BAT, EIGHT INDIVIDUALS BOWL AND IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF TIMES THEY ARE GIVEN ‘OUT’, UNTIL EIGHT FIELDERS ARE ON THE FIELD AT ONE TIME. THEY HAVE BATTED FOR TWO COMPLETE OVERS (12 BALLS).

 A TOSS OF A COIN/BAT WILL DETERMINE WHICH  CRICKET STAFF/UMPIRES WILL TRY TO ENSURE BOTH BATTERS WITHIN TEAM BATS FIRST. THE PAIR, FACE THE SAME AMOUNT OF DELIVERIES.

 WINNERS OF THE MILO T20 BLAST SCHOOL CUP  BATTERS SWAP ENDS AT THE END OF EACH OVER AND WHEN DISMISSED WILL BE DECIDED BY THE TEAM WITH THE MOST (EXCEPT IN THE EVENT OF A ). WINS.  EIGHT PLAYERS MUST BOWL AND KEEP WICKET FOR ONE OVER  THE DOUBLE ZONE IS THE AREA BEHIND THE BOWLER’S END STUMPS. EACH (THERE IS NO DESIGNATED WICKETKEEPER). SEE ‘GROUND SETUP’ DIAGRAM FOR MORE DETAILS.

 BOWLERS ARE LIMITED TO A SHORT RUN UP. THIS ENSURES  THE DOUBLE ZONE SHOULD BE MARKED WITH DIFFERENT COLOURED A FAST–PACED GAME WITH PLENTY OF ACTION AND MARKERS. MINIMAL DOWN TIME.  IN ADDITION, THE BATTER ON STRIKE AFTER THE RUNS ARE COMPLETED WILL RECEIVE A FREE HIT OFF THE TEE (SEE FREE HIT RULE).
