DAY 1 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN EDINBURGH Upon your arrival in Scotland, you will be greeted by a private driver who will take you to your hotel in the city centre of Edinburgh. For those arriving early in the day, we recommend spending the day walking through the city, strolling along the Royal Mile and exploring the Old Town and New Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are also plenty of landmarks and Outlander fliming locations to visit within the city centre, including the beautiful St Giles Cathedral and the majestic Edinburgh Castle. Spend the night in Edinburgh. Attractions: Calton Hill, Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh New Town, Holyrood Palace, The Royal Mile & St Giles Cathedral, World´s End

DAY 2 DAY 2: THE HISTORIC KINGDOM OF FIFE Today, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in a quality private vehicle. You will have the option to visit Hopetoun House, the stately home that stands for the residence of the Duke of Sandringham in season 1 and many other locations. You will then stop at the boat-shaped fortress Blackness Castle, which stands in for Fort William. In Fife, you have many possible stops. This includes the picturesque villages of Culross and Falkland, the latter of which you will definitely recognise as 1940s Inverness where Claire and Frank have their honeymoon. Spend the night in Fife. Attractions: Blackness Castle, Culross, Falkland, Forth Railway Bridge, Hopetoun House

DAY 3 DAY 3: INTO THE HIGHLANDS Your guide will take you into the Highlands to follow in Jamie and Claire‘s footsteps. Stops along the way include the lovely village of and 13th-century Blair Castle. Travelling through the National Park, you will have time to visit the Folk Museum, which was used as a Mackenzie village. You‘ll then make your way through to Fort William. Spend the night in the Fort William area. Attractions: Blair Castle, Cairngorms National Park, Dunkeld, Fort William, Highland Folk Museum, The Hermitage

1/2 DAY 4 DAY 4: THROUGH FAMOUS GLENS AND LOMOND Today your private guide will take you through the and area before returning to Edinburgh. This drive includes Scotland’s scenic and historical Glen Coe , where some of the very first scenes of the tv series were shot. Later in the day, we can recommend taking a nature walk to spot wildlife, enjoy a boat tour on Loch Katrine, or taste the flavour of the country at Deanston Whisky Distillery. A great stop on the way is Doune Castle, which you will immediately recognise as Castle Leoch, featured prominently in season 1. Spend the night in Edinburgh. Attractions: Deanston Whisky Distillery, Doune Castle, Glen Coe, Loch Katrine, Loch Lomond, Trossachs National Park

DAY 5 DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM SCOTLAND On your day of departure, a private driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you directly to the airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, you may take your last few hours to do some last-minute shopping, visit one of Edinburgh’s many museums, or take one last stroll through the charming city centre.
