The “New” links were laid out in 1895 and therefore it is plenty old and has had loads of time to mature into a first rate Scottish links golf course. Q: What airports should I plan to fly in and out of? A: You’ll want to schedule your flight to arrive at the (EDI) as the airport transfer included in your Experience assumes arrival here at the Edinburgh Airport. Your departure flight should be scheduled from the Edinburgh Airport (EDI).

Q: What will the weather be like during our stay? A: A typical day in Scotland during golfing season could bring a bit of sunshine, clouds, mist, rain, and wind. The average temperature for May-September is typically 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Extremes are rare in Scotland, as it tends to not be overly warm or cold.

Q: What currency is used in Scotland? A: The British Sterling Pound (GBP) is the currency used throughout Scotland. The GBP is currently trading at approximately 1.29 US Dollars to the GBP, as of December 3, 2019.

Q: Will I be able to get cash and use credit cards while in Scotland? A: You will find that most major credit cards and debits cards are nearly universally accepted in Scotland. The same is true of Travelers cheques, which should be in GBP to avoid extra exchange rate charges. ATMs are ubiquitous throughout Scotland so you will have easy access to cash. It should be noted that American Express is not as widely accepted in the UK as Visa and MasterCard.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for this Experience? A: All deposits and final payments are non refundable. However, we highly recommend purchasing a travel insurance program through Travel Guard and we will be happy to provide a quote for The Tee Tour & Travel policy. This policy will allow you to cancel for a variety of reasons and receive a full refund of all fees paid, including airfare. Please contact a GG Concierge if you would like a quote for travel insurance.

Q: What if I want to play additional and optional golf? A: There are plenty of championship links courses around the area you’ll be staying at in Scotland! If any Guest wants to play additional golf, even at the spur of the moment, a member of the GG Concierge Team can arrange optional golf for you. DETAILS, TERMS & CONDITIONS

DETAILS: • and/or carts may be arranged at the request of the Guest, provided such services are available. • All fees and gratuities and cart fees are the responsibility of the Guest. • A current certificate from a bona-fide golf club may be required for all Guests who are playing golf during the Experience. Play could be denied if a valid handicap is not presented.

TRAVEL GUARD’S TEE, TOUR & TRAVEL POLICY • Garmany Golf strongly recommends for your protection that you take out insurance to cover you in case of forced cancellation, loss or damage of luggage, personal injury, accident, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, none of which Garmany Golf can be liable for. Garmany Golf is a licensed representative of Travel Guard, provider of the Tee, Tour & Travel policy, a comprehensive travel insurance policy from the recognized leader of travel insurance options. A Garmany Golf Concierge will be happy to provide a quotation and proposal for a Travel Guard policy as well as facilitate the registration for any Guest.

CANCELLATIONS: • Once tee times and accommodations have been booked and confirmed, and the requisite deposits have been placed, there are no refunds of any deposits or final payments made by Guests or the representative club. Garmany Golf strongly recommends travel insurance to protect any Guest against any unforeseen circumstances that may cause a Guest or club to cancel participation in any Experience. ADDITIONAL AND OPTIONAL BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT: • At the request of a Guest, a GG Concierge will be happy to book any non golfing tour, activity or additional round of golf before or during the Experience. Please be aware that an administrative or booking fee may be added to any such booking. In the event of such a fee, the Guest will be notified in advance of the fee and have the opportunity to decline the booking confirmation. All Guests agree to provide a valid credit card in advance of the Experience that may be used for payment for any additional tour, activity or additional (non included) round of golf booked during the Experience for the Guest.

ST ANDREWS OLD COURSE: • Your Experience itinerary reflects the possibility to play the Old Course at St Andrews. Please note that this tee time is not guaranteed but does offer a few different options/possibilities of being able to play the Old Course. The Garmany Golf Concierge Team will do everything possible to ensure that you and your group have the opportunity to play the Old Course but as this Experience does not include a guaranteed tee time, we can make no assurances that any of these options will result in a tee time on the Old Course.
