Biodiversity of lipid species – Benefit for nutrition and Effects on health

Le programme scientifique sera principalement consacré à la biodiversité des lipides et des acides gras dans le monde vivant et à leur rôle dans les cellules. Sous le titre «Biodiversité des espèces lipidiques - avantage pour la nutrition et effets sur la santé», le congrès réunira des chercheurs de divers domaines ayant un intérêt commun pour l’exploration et l’exploitation de cette diversité, la chimie physique de lipides et des acides gras usuels et inhabituels, le métabolisme conduisant à la production de ces différentes structures, leur impact sur les maladies, leur effet sur la santé et leurs diverses applications en biotechnologie, pharmacologie et nutrition.

Cette année, la thématique retenue va faire un lien direct entre les lipides et acides gras et leur implication dans certaines maladies pathologiques inflammatoires (cancers, maladies cardiovasculaires, obésité, …). Dans cette manifestation, l’aspect prévention par une meilleure nutrition et/ou alimentation adaptée fera l’objet de plusieurs sessions. Six sessions vont structurer les interventions et concerneront à la fois l’exploration de la diversité des organismes vivants producteurs de lipides d’intérêt (session 1 : Lipides et acides gras inhabituels possèdant des propriétés physiologiques), de leur implication dans les maladies inflammatoires (session 2 : Lipides et mécanismes inflammatoires – maladies et prévention ; et session 4 : Lipides & nutrition / Lipides et nutraceutiques), de la possibilité de préparer des lipides bioactifs fonctionnels (session 3 : Lipides et vectorisation), et d’étudier les lipides et acides gras dans leur contexte biologiques ou artificialle (session 6 : Lipidomique, métabolomique et fluxomique dans la connaissance de la production de lipides et la nutrition). La session 5 sera consacrée à la présentation d’études prospectives.

Le 15ème congrès de lipidomique prend la suite d’une série de congrès annuels et internationaux organisés par le GERLI (Groupe d'Etude et de Recherche en Lipidomique) dans le but de couvrir les différentes disciplines touchant aux lipides, de la recherche fondamentale aux applications technologiques et à l’économie de la connaissance, et bien sûr à la santé humaine. Le congrès annuel du GERLI est une réunion essentielle permettant aux forces vives de la recherche académique et industrielle d’échanger et de discuter des avancées les plus récentes dans le domaine. Cette année, le congrès a été co-organisé avec 4 associations françaises travaillant dans les domaines des lipides (GERLI, SFEL « Société française pour l’étude des lipides), de la nutrition et de la santé (GLN « Groupe Lipides et nutrition » ; SFN « Société française de nutrition »).

Ce congrès sera suivi par les Journées des Lipidomystes, organisées les 3 et 4 Octobre 2019 par le Réseau Français des LIPIDOMYSTES. Les différents points abordés seront: l’imagerie par spectrométrie de masse, la physique des spectromètres de masse, la validation de méthodes et la quantification.
