Aug 05, 2019 10:09 BST ‘Phenomenal’ SuperCupNI hailed as a great result for Mid and East Antrim This year’s STATSports SuperCupNI has been praised as “one of the best to date” following the week-long festival of football. Many of the best youth teams and players from around the world showcased their skills on pitches throughout Mid and East Antrim during the prestigious competition with more than thirty-five matches staged in the Borough. Speaking after the showpiece finals night at Ballymena Showgrounds, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Maureen Morrow said: “I wish to personally congratulate all of the organisers, teams, coaches, families, sponsors and all those involved in what was another phenomenal tournament. “I was privileged to take in several games and was in awe of the talent of the young players taking part and how well the event was arranged and organised.
