253/20 CHAIRS WELCOME the chair welcomed everyone to the meeting including one member of the public. 254/20 APOLOGIES S Hudspeth, N Kerr. 255/20 OPEN FORUM no issues. 256/20 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST Clerk absented herself for one planning application. 257/20 MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING held on 10th November 2020 approved and now signed. 258/20 CLERKS UPDATE • City Council (PCC) had notified the landowners about the overhanging vegetation onto the Road/ Road. • The problems regarding standing water and the muddy surface on the Riverside footpath have been referred by PCC to Aragon Direct Services. • According to PCC the leaning lamppost on Peakirk Road will be made safe. Clerk will request an update prior to next meeting. • A local resident’s enquiry about overhead power lines has been resolved by Great Western Power. • The issues about HGV’s using the Deeping Gate bridge have been referred to Peter Tebb - PCC Network & Traffic Manager. 259/20 CORRESPONDENCE none received. 260/20 FINANCE • The Parish Council reconciled the bank accounts for October/November. • The Councillors will consider a new bank card for the use of the Clerk/RFO (Responsible Financial Officer) in January. 261/20 PLANNING Mr & Mrs Hoppe 20/1276/HHFUL New front porch, Council have no 21 Suttons Lane removal of objections Deeping Gate dormers, Peterborough replacement of PE6 9AA pitched roof and rendered. A & P Mumby 20/01555/HHFUL Alterations to Council have no Honeysuckle Lodge annexe, windows objections Suttons Lane and entrance door Deeping Gate to replace garage Peterborough doors and patio PE6 9AA doors. Mr A Fitzjohn 20/01634/HHFUL Replacement of Council have no existing objections conservatory roof.

262/20 COMMUNITY ISSUES • The village sign will be replaced by Mr M Sargeant. This will be funded from The Aidan Patrick Fogarty Deceased Will Trust, the expenditure meets the conditions of the trust for it to be used for the benefit of the local community. • Plans for the John Clare Countryside Vision (JCCV) are being developed by The Welland Rivers Trust after Perry Burns walked the Deeping Gate stretch of the river with the clerk on 7/12/20.The next JVVC meeting is on December 17th.The Parish Council are keen to receive any ideas that residents might have on this project so please email these to: [email protected] The clerk can post or email any information to residents on this project. 263/20 VILLAGE MATTERS The Christmas tree will be erected by Deeping Gate bridge on 9/12/20. The clerk has information packs from PCC regarding the Stay Well this Winter Campaign 2020/21. Please email the clerk if any resident requires one of these. Meeting ended @ 20:41
