THE ALL-IN-ONE AUDIOBOOK It Has Been Six Years Since Entertainment Agent Myron Bolitar Last Played Superhero If You’re Ever in a Bind, If You Ever Need My Help, Promise Me You’ll Call Me. I’ll Come Get You Wherever You Are… THE ALL-IN-ONE AUDIOBOOK It has been six years since entertainment agent Myron Bolitar last played superhero. In six years he hasn’t thrown a punch. He hasn’t held, much less fired, a gun. He hasn’t called his friend Win, still the scariest man he knows, to back him up or get him out of trouble. All that is about to change…because of a promise. The school year is almost over. In these last pressure-cooker months of high school, some kids will make the all-too-common and all-too-dangerous mistake of drinking and driving. But Myron is determined to help keep his friends’ children safe, so he makes two neighborhood girls promise him: If they are ever in a bind but are afraid to call their parents, they must call him. Several nights later, the call comes at 2:00 AM, and true to his word, Myron picks up one of the girls in midtown Manhattan and drives her to a quiet cul- de-sac in New Jersey where she says her friend lives. The next day, the girl’s parents discover that their daughter is missing. And that Myron was the last person to see her. Desperate to fulfill a well- intentioned promise turned nightmarishly wrong, Myron races to find her before she’s gone forever. Winner of the Edgar Award, the Shamus Award, and the Anthony Award, Harlan Coben is the author of twelve previous novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Innocent, Just One Look, No Second Chance, Gone for Good, and Tell No One, as well as the popular Myron Bolitar novels. His books are published in more than thirty-three languages around the world. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and four children. Coben will be joint CEO alongside RED founder Nicola Shindler with STUDIOCANAL handling international distribution of the original content. Final Twist Productions, which will be based in the U.S., will develop contemporary, thrilling drama for American broadcast networks. The new company is already in development on a major returning drama series, Six Years, adapted from Coben’s bestselling novel of the same name. The ambitious series tells the story of Jake, a college professor who six years earlier watched the love of his life, Natalie, marry another man. It’s almost been a year since our lives were challenged by the pandemic, but I have a sense of hope. At CET, ThinkTV and SOITA, we’ve persevered and we’ve learned lessons that I know we will build on for our future. More than ever, we will remain committed to our work in education. Our priorities and strategies will focus on what we can do better to serve our young learners and families for the long term. We will leverage our trusted programming, robust educational tools and our use of technology to remain a vital resource to parents, students and teachers. We will also continue to look to our colleagues across Ohio to collaborate, create and assess statewide services that will supplement education beyond the pandemic and provide services to those at greatest risk. We also will continue our commitment to local programming. On April 11th, we will air our local production Yom HaShoah: Remembering for Tomorrow – Carrying Our Stories Forward, created in partnership with The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center, which showcases the stories of survivors and shines a light on the value of promoting human rights.

  • Appointment in May by Neil Albert the Secret of Villa Mimosa by Elizabeth
Mysteries: Appointment in May by Neil Albert This is the 5th in a series of detective mysteries. Mr. Albert delivers as always. His endings are always a surprise. A solid detective story! The Secret of Villa Mimosa by Elizabeth Adler Nice light mystery/romance. It was a nice trip to South of France. Murder with Peacocks by Donna Andrews A thoroughly entertaining murder mystery with quirky, likeable characters and a good mystery to solve. I will read more books in this series. Oakdale Confidential by Anonymous It was not a good book. All the female characters had so many affairs with other people that I could not follow the storyline. Aunt Dimity & the Deep Blue Sea by Nancy Atherton • Good book. • Lori and her husband Bill and their twin sons, Will and Rob confront true evil with the help of friends. All are changed by the events. (There is no new stuffed animal in this book.) Nails by Peter Bowen Not the usual murder mystery. Because of the number of characters and the author’s use of cowboy ‘lingo’ the story moved slowly until the last few chapters. I do not agree with “Midweek Book Review” that Bowen does for Montana what Hillerman does for Mexico. Evan Help Us by Rhys Bowen Great reading for anyone who likes light mystery and chair side touring. If you are an Anglophile, in love with Wales, this is the book for you! One of a series, all on the same theme. Out of Range By C. J. Box Enjoyed the book and the described local area as it brought back memories of vacationing in the area.
