Top 10 Dream Stable Feuds Rules ● It’s a feud, not one match. Will be thinking long-term. ● Can only use one wrestler once, due to the number of members for each stable and the variety. Imagine a pay-per-view that involved all stables battling, which required each wrestler to perform once. 10. N.W.O (Hogan, Hall, Nash) vs. Bullet Club (Marty Scurll, Cody Rhodes, Adam Page) Rather than predictably putting this match at #1, I’d rather put it at the back end of this list to get it out of the way. We all know the similarities the two stables share as far as swagger, behavior, color scheme, and the “Too Sweet”. I’ve decided to use these three for Bullet Club because we’ll need The Elite later on in this list and because with the exception of Adam Page, Rhodes and Scurll are the two most recent members. I’ve been really impressed with each of their work lately and I think the concept of Bullet Club versus the New World Order overshadows who’s actually in the match. Considering neither stable has had any previous contact with each other, whoever is in the match won’t necessarily matter. Seeing the NWO “Too Sweet” each other while the Bullet Club copies them would be a great spot to do before the match. Since this is a fantasy land of wrestling stable feuds, after the match they can each reveal a new member of their stables by doing a T-shirt reveal. After NWO realizes Bullet Club copied them again, they brawl. The motive for an actual feud between the two stables would be simple as the NWO can actually play the faces. Bullet Club have been copying everything they do and the NWO have an issue with it. 9. Wyatt Family (Bray, Luke, Erick, Braun Strowman) vs. Sanity (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Sawyer Fulton, Killian Dain) The psychotic, chaotic, animalistic behavior of Sanity would complement the dark and cynical behaviors of the Wyatt Family. But the match itself, stable versus stable, would be fun and full of gimmick-related moments for both stables. I can also envision a series of stipulation matches on pay-per-view (PPV) such as a normal tag match, a elimination tag match, and a gimmick match such as a Hell in a Cell tornado and an Extreme Rules tornado match. This could be a very enjoyable feud if it were ever to actually occur. 8. Evolution (Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista) vs. Main Event Mafia (Sting, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe) Imagine the main event scenes of two of the biggest wrestling companies in their primes clashing in the same ring. This match should happen once and it should be overbooked with interferences. In our fantasy land of wrestling dreams, this match should happen at Survivor Series and go on for thirty minutes or more. This match would be filled with nostalgic moments that would bring ruthless aggression and attitude era fans together to watch one clash that would happen once. Every superstar would get in their finisher and signature moves. Every other superstar associated with every superstar in this match would interfere as well such as Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels for Evolution and Steiner, Booker T, Christian Cage can all join in on the fun. I wouldn’t expect this match to be a 5-star classic but it might be one of the most enjoyable of all time if it were to occur. The motivation for a feud would be simple. This would be WWE’s chance to get an invasion angle done correctly. WWE would have mention the letters “T-N-A” on television which might be difficult but I think it would be worth it. Although, mentioning the name of a rival company might pop ratings for TNA as well. Aside from the specific factors that can stop this from happening, this match would be the most fun multi-person tag team match in the history of WWE. 7. The Club (Styles, Gallows, Anderson) vs. Chaos (Okada, Ospreay, Ishii) At first, I was going to have The Club face the original Bullet Club consisting of Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga, and Finn Balor. But when I did research for this entry, I found that Finn Balor and AJ Styles were never in the stable at the same time nor did one of them kick out the other out of the stable. Their paths never crossed once in New Japan. I decided if the two leaders before Kenny Omega never crossed paths en route to landing in WWE, why should a feud between the two revolve around their former affiliations with Bullet Club. I wanted The Club to feud with a stable they were familiar with and the paths between the two stables had somewhat crossed, but not enough to where if they did face off it would still be a dream match. Okada and Styles do have a history together as they have fought each other for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship on a few occasions. Seeing the leaders of both stables collide one more time with their backup would be wrestling in its most artistic form. This match would include everything it should: storytelling and incredible wrestling. 6. British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven) vs. Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Takahashi) Not only would I love to see the contrast in wrestling styles blend between the two stables, but I would love to see which stable out heels the other. Tetsuya Naito, in recent memory, has been one of the best heels in New Japan. He has most notably expressed his dark side by smashing his IWGP Intercontinental Title, which he recently lost to Hiroshi Tanahashi. Both leaders, Pete Dunne and Naito, have been known to be brutal and stiff wrestlers. A collision between these two stables wouldn’t be so much of a wrestling match, but a painful brawl that involves some wrestling moves. 5. The Nexus (Wade Barret, Justin Gabriel, Skip Sheffield, Daniel Bryan) vs. The Radicalz (Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko) I’ve put this on my list solely for storyline potential and the wrestling similarities between the two groups. The Radicalz would’ve been able to put the Nexus over unlike Cena could. The two factions complement each other fairly well as far as each individual wrestler being somewhat similar to a superstar on the other stable, except for the Radicalz’s lack of massive powerhouse like the Nexus’ Skip Sheffield (Ryback). Chris Benoit and Wade Barrett are both alike in the sense that they’re not necessarily brawlers with unorthodox wrestling moves in their arsenal, but they’re not technical virtuosos in the ring either. Eddie Guerrero and Justin Gabriel (PJ Black) are the high-flyers of their team. Dean Malenko and Daniel Bryan both are famous for their ability to lock a number of submission holds on their opponent. Perry Saturn can be whatever you’d like Perry Saturn to be compared to a monster like Ryback. In our fantasy wrestling land of time travel and perfect booking, The Radicalz can make the claim that they once tried to rebellious when they were young and stupid, but it simply didn’t turn out well like it won’t be for the Nexus. The Radicalz, the veterans of the wrestling business, don’t stand for the young and dauntless Nexus who run around the ring thinking they own the place because they always win the numbers game. There are a number of ways you can attack such an interesting storyline which is why it makes its way onto the list. 4. Hart Foundation (Bret, Owen, Jim, Brian, D.B.S) vs. Chaos (Briscoe Brothers, Roppongi Vice, Goto) The Hart Foundation had such a variety of different wrestling styles within their stable. They had “Flying” Brian Pillman who offered that fast-paced and more modern style of wrestling, Jim Neidhart and The British Bulldog are the enforcers of the stable, while the two Hart brothers bring a technical style of wrestling to the table. Chaos have arguably two of the best of tag teams in the wrestling world at the moment in Roppongi Vice and the Briscoe’s. Both of those teams differ from each other in their own unique ways. Both stables offer such a variety of different in-ring styles within each other and seeing the two put on a show-stealing match in this stable clashing PPV would be rollercoaster full of emotions for the fans. 3. The Alliance (Stone Cold, RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Booker T, DDP, Christian, Stevie Richards) vs. EV 2.0 (Mick Foley, Sabu, Rhino, Raven, Sandman, Dudley Boyz) If you wouldn’t want to see this seven on seven extreme blood bad between two teams, then you don’t like fun. The carnage in and out of the ring would horrifically glorious. The thought of Mick Foley leading a group of savages to take on Stone Cold Steve Austin and his group of wrestlers would be absolutely magnificent in every way. Dreamer, RVD, and Richards can play the heel roles of being the ones who betrayed their ECW family. RVD used turning up on Monday Night Raw in the mid-90’s as a way to get heat on him during the glory days of ECW, so that would give him a motive to betray ECW again. The thought of these two groups of human beings trying to ravage through one another, doing anything at any cost to beat the other team would be scary and most likely not very PG.
