The thread about it being related to someone Deeks knew in the LAPD is dropped almost immediately, but it's dropped in favor of Callen going undercover with a Russian buyer of illegal antiquities looted from Iraq, and a former SEAL being targeted as a possible witness to the looting, and in the course of the investigation Kensi and Deeks meet with this sweet old couple determined to help provide information any way they can, even in the face of danger. Callen, Hanna, Deeks, and Byle are on the move as they try to stop a US Navy SEAL from being targeted, an old woman from being killed, and an ancient Iraq artifact from being sold by American mercenaries who stole it years earlier, and therefore thwarting more uneasiness between the United States and Iraq. Another action filled book that any fan of the tv show must have in their collection.
