North Staffordshire Line stations have improved enormously through great partnership working. A team of over 50 dedicated North Longport Longton Staffordshire line station adopters take great pride in providing the finishing touch, creating attractive station gardens and flower displays and ensuring stations are at the heart of the community.

Working with North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership and East Midlands Trains are businesses like TESCO, Nestle and JCB, local Pretty gardens at Longport, an inner-city Longton station is at the heart of councils, community organisations and many schools, all of whom station community life have helped to create improved station facilities and make stations more welcoming through community artwork and station events. Local residents, family and friends, parish and town councils, Matlock Bath Whatstandwell Ambergate community groups and schools are taking great pride in making their local station a welcoming and attractive part of their community. Our station adopters do a marvellous job helping to make Ancaster our stations welcoming places for visitors and commuters alike, from tending flower planters to providing travel information at many of our unstaffed stations.
