Elliott has led the Argonauts men’s soccer team for 21 seasons, and he was also head coach for the women’s team from 1995 to 2001. In his 20 years leading the UWF men’s soccer team, the Argonauts have won nine GSC championships, the most in conference history. The Argos have also made 16 appearances in the GSC Tournament and six appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

In the summer of 2010, he was also named to the GSC Men’s Soccer All- 9 NSCAA All-Americans Time Team, honoring the top coach in GSC men’s soccer through the con- ference’s first 14 seasons sponsoring the sport. 5-Time GSC Coach of the Year 3-Time Region Coach of the Year Under his leadership, the Argonauts have boasted nine All-Americans, 83 All-GSC Players including first team All-Americans Eduardo Oliveira (2006), Keith Savage 4 GSC Players of the Year (2006) and Jimmy McHenry (2007). 3 GSC Freshmen of the Year Elliott earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1991 and a GSC All-Time Team Head Coach master’s in recreation and sports management in 1993 from the University of Tennessee.
