1 The Montana Grizzlies were picked as the preseason favorite to win the Feb. 8 - Offensive: Paige Maling, NAU Big Sky Soccer Championship this season. The Griz are the reigning regular Defensive: Taryn Benham, NAU season champions after posting a 6-0-3 record last season. Montana was picked No. 1 in the preseason poll for the first time since 2001, totaling 70 Feb. 15 - Offensive: Erika Sosa, SAC points and four first-place votes. Defensive: Aaliyah Fesili, SAC

Feb. 22 - Offensive: Skylar Littlefield, SAC 4 Idaho midfielder Kaysie Bruce scored four goals for the Vandals last week, Defensive: Aubrey Goodwill, SAC including an impressive hat trick on Sunday, to lead Idaho to a pair of 5-0 victories over Portland State. Bruce earned her first career Big Sky Soccer Mar. 1 - Offensive: McKaley Goffard, EWU Offensive Player of the Week honor after her performance against the Defensive: Kelsee Winston, EWU Vikings. Mar. 8 - Offensive: Kinsley Napoli, WSU Defensive: Mekell Moss, WSU 8 Eight Big Sky teams will be in action this weekend across Friday and Sunday. After a bye week last week, Montana and Weber State will hit the Mar. 15 - Offensive: Maddie Morgan, EWU field with the Grizzlies taking on Portland State and the Wildcats facing Defensive: Claire Howard, UM Southern Utah.

Mar. 22 - Offensive: Kaysie Bruce, UI 17 Aaliyah Fesili made 17 saves for Sacramento State last week to earn Big Defensive: Aaliyah Fesili, SAC Sky Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. Fesili held Eastern Washington scoreless in both matches and matched her career-high of nine saves on Friday.

21 Northern Arizona goalkeeper Taryn Benham recorded her 21st career shutout against Southern Utah last week in NAU’s 3-0 victory over the Thunderbirds. It marked the third shutout of the season for Benham and the 21st of her career.

America East 0-0 Atlantic 10 0-0 Taryn Benham, NAU • Benham recorded her 21st career shutout against Southern ASUN 0-0 Utah last week in Sunday’s victory. She is now tied for the all-time individual Big East 0-0 record at Northern Arizona with 21 shutouts. Big Ten 0-0 Big South 0-0 Rachael Hunt, SUU • Hunt led Southern Utah in the team’s series against Northern Big West 0-0 Arizona last week taking four shots and scoring once on Friday and taking two Big 12 0-0 shots, including one on goal, on Sunday. CAA 0-0 C-USA 0-0 Kaysie Bruce, UI • Bruce scored four goals across two matches to lead Idaho to a 0-0 couple of 5-0 victories over Portland State last week. She scored the opening goal MAC 0-0 in Friday’s match followed by an impressive hat trick in Sunday’s match. Northern 2.12 at Washington State L, 4-1 Arizona beat Southern Utah twice in Cedar City and were led by Madison 2.22 at Gonzaga L, 2-0 Montgomery’s two goals on Friday. Idaho notched a pair of dominant 5-0 road 2.28 College of Idaho W, 5-0 victories over Portland State led by Kaysie Bruce’s hat trick on Sunday. Northern 3.12 Portland State* W, 3-1 Colorado battled against Idaho State and earned two league wins over the 3.14 Portland State* W, 3-1 3.19 at Sacramento State* T, 0-0 (2OT) Bengals in Pocatello led by Lexi Pulley. 3.21 at Sacramento State* T, 0-0 (2OT) 4.2 Idaho* 3:00 p.m. > Eastern Washington and Sacramento State fought hard last week in 4.4 Idaho* 12:00 p.m. 4.9 at Montana* 3:00 p.m. Sacramento and came away with two 0-0 double overtime draws. The Northwest division consists of Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, Portland State, and Sacramento State. The Southeast division includes Idaho State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, and Weber State.

> Eight matches are scheduled to be played this weekend across Friday and Sunday including Idaho State and Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Southern Utah and Weber State in Ogden, Portland State and Montana in Missoula, and Sacramento State and Idaho in Moscow.

> The 2021 Big Sky Soccer Championship will be hosted by Weber State in Ogden, Utah. Action is set to kickoff Thursday April 15. The winner of the championship will receive the Big Sky’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
