The sound quality for both is excellent, as are the performances. This bootleg also includes studio radio broadcasts from 1997, as well as bonus performance of Jonas and Ezekiel. 9:30 Club 99x/mountain stage acoustic cafe light in the darkest corners of the evening with indigo girl Atlanta night attack killer b-side volume 1 - rarigies 1989-92 attack killer b-side volume 2 - rarigies 1992-95 killer attack b-side volume 3 - rarigies 1995-98 killer attack b-sides Volume 4 - more rarigies attack killer b-side volume 5 - revenge rarigies attack killer b-side volume 6 attack killer b-side volume 7 attack killer b-sides volume 8 previous recordings 4 - blue food secrets a la carte Amy and Cooper - the story in the song behind the scenes at the Greek Ben and Jerry Folk Festival 1991 club mr and r-coffee promo Columbia radio hour plus full live in fillmore Talk - volume 01 crowd talk - Volume 02 didn't it feel kinder (kyte TV campaign) f'ked up indigo - volume 01 house blues indigo girls indigo guests excellent sounding compilation of 122 tracks by other artists on which Amy and/or Emily make a guest appearance. indigo originals - songs that never made L.A. albums a night on the mountain - kmtt radio, seattle, WA 1999 paper dealt with pea downunder problems of baby rants and raves retroactive (new tracks 2000) reverse 1 live shades of indigo shepherd's bush full staggered (Amy Beam) tipitinas - October 2, 198 9 years to expect '99 uk95: 3 days in June universal amphitheater / live on the mountain scene (unknown fan compilation) wrek night fan recording 1981-xx-xx: children Tuesday excellent sounding copies of 1981 cassettes, Tuesday's Kids, which was independently released by b group, is an early name for indigo girls. it is not known how many copies of the cassette were released. 1981-11-xx: Ap English learning room, shamrock high school - decatur, Georgia is a pretty good sounding copy of Amy and Emily's 1981 tape performance for their UP English class back in shamrock high school. it's quite possible their first appearance in front of an audience, please watch this 2000 interview with Emily for more information: June 2000 - a strange television interview. 1982-xx-xx: Amy Beam - Color Me Grey is basically an excellent sounding copy of Amy's solo effort Beam from 1982, the color of me gray. It was an independently released tape, reportedly one year Amy gave them as Christmas gifts to eight people. There are reportedly at least two different versions of the cassette with track orders and some tracks and track names vary between versions. 1985-xx-xx: blue food recorded in the dugout - Decatur, Georgia is an excellent-sounding copy of the independent cassette release, blue food. All tracks were recorded live in 1985, except for all the expectations (for someone to go home), which is the same version as the crazy game / everyone is waiting for 45. it is not known how many copies of the cassette were released. 1985-xx-xx: Dugout - Decatur, Georgia is a pretty well-sounding record of a fun show including covers up the roof, Summer Highlands falls, rock me on the water, fire and rain, and move away. also includes Romeo and Juliet. 1985-xx-xx: Purple Parrot - Atlanta, Georgia Is a pretty good-sounding copy of the 1985 release, Purple Parrot. this is another early independent cassette released under the name indigo girls. all tracks were recorded live in 1985 on a purple parrot in Atlanta, Georgia. if you ever find yourself in line for a show in Phoenix be sure to chat to your neighbor, as in doing the same one night I met a woman who used to own a purple parrot back when Amy and Emily were playing on a regular basis. she was incredibly good and still very very fan after all these years. The record has a lot of fun cover tunes mixed with some of the classic early songs that never seem to have made it onto any of the official major label releases. it is not known how many copies of the cassette were released. 1985-xx-xx: ep 1985-87: 45s 1986-xx-xx: Mysteries play rehersal really good recording of the sound of rehersals, with group performances of the holy city and strange fire. The show was written and directed by Andrew Ordover. 198?-xx-xx: The Curse of the Starving Class produced excellent sound recordings with three instrumental, including Emily's song, beautiful guitar, and instrumental number 3. 198?-xx-xx: Little Five Pub Dots - Atlanta, Georgia rough-sounding recordings of some great songs, including hand-in-hand. 1987-xx-xx: The World to Tomorrow - Good 45 1987-03-20: Don't Eat Out Of The Crumpled Candock - benefit LP 1987-04-10: haverford College - haverford, Pennsylvania well-sounding record is a really good performance that shows make this house a house, lifeblood, and don't give up on me a child. 1987-05-09: decatur on the square - decatur, Georgia pretty good sounding audio taken from the television broadcast show, the performance and setlist are both stunning, cold as ice, never stop, holy city, killing time, and making this house home are some of the highlights. 1987-xx-xx: Strange Fire (Indigo Record Vinyl Release) 1987-11-13: Chapel Hill, North Carolina's really good sound recording of a great performance, involves making it easier, in no way treating a friend, and hey, Jesus. the earliest known bootleg with blood and fire. it seems around this time that Amy and Emily each start playing solo songs in the middle of the set, on this show there was one each, as time went on it became two each, and in later years become an option that one or both sometimes use, but most of the time there is none. 1988-03-16: White Dot - Atlanta, Georgia a neat one from the back before Amy and Emily signed with epic records. The sound is pretty good, given his age, and highlights include many of the old standards, as well as a partial version of Beauty to Disaster (it's a cut part of the way through), a short rendition of Mandy, a rare rendition of a tall horse, and an early soc during an all-along watchtower. also includes the earliest known bootleg performance of Prince of Darkness. 1988-03-19: Arts Center - Carrboro, North Carolina stunning early deck with some hiss, but otherwise a really good sound. The setlist speaks for itself and between them a lot of funny stories and interactions with the audience, including their acceleration of the ticket story leading to a cold as ice, their St patricks story leading in vitality, and their radar detector/Amy lost and again boots the story leading to Nashville. you get the idea, it's really really really and a fun show. also includes the earliest known bootleg recordings of the central stage. 1988-04-11: Uptown lounge - athens, Georgia is a pretty good record that includes John Keane sitting on some tracks, highlights include a ballad squeaky from me, blood and fire, lifeblood, and good times. 1988-04-28: Boston, Massachusetts is a pretty good sounding record for its age, a show from the beginning of the year that will eventually see Amy and Emily sign with epic recordings. The performance and setlist are both stunning, with Amy playing the beauty to disaster for the second time ever, as well as Emily's only famous bootleg recording of Joan Armading's love for you.
