Co-Curricular Lower School Remove - LIV 2019 Weekend Activities Programme

#JoinIn

Dear Parents

We would like to introduce you to the programme of weekend activities planned for the Michaelmas Term for the Lower School. Looking back, the Summer Term was an incredibly busy one and highlights include camping at Marwell, the residential trip to Calshot Activity Centre where the girls got to choose from bike riding in the velodrome to sailing on the lake and the joint Remove and LIV trip to Liquid Leisure! We hope you enjoy seeing what the girls are up to on our social media and through our e-newsletters. We regularly meet with the girls in our student forums and together we have put together a diverse and engaging programme of events. I hope there is something for everyone, including teambuilding activity days, socials with other schools, a visit to Cadbury World and lots of activities to be enjoyed in House. As a reminder, girls that are in House over the weekend are expected to take part in the events on offer. With this in mind, we strive to keep the cost of these activities to a minimum. The cost of the events will be added to your School bill. Should you wish to book an Exeat and take your daughter off site for the weekend, please use the separate Weekend Activities Form for this and return it to your Housemistress in time for the start of the Michaelmas Term. Please do always get in touch with any feedback. We would love to hear what you or your daughter are enjoying and if there is anything different that you would like to see added to the weekend programme. Looking forward to welcoming the girls both new and those returning, back for a busy, exciting and challenging term ahead! With best wishes

Liquid Leisure was a really fun trip. I enjoyed the water trampoline a lot. It was my favourite trip that I have been on so far, even though a lot of water went up my nose! Annabel, Remove, Darwin

I really enjoyed our trip to Bournemouth. We started off by going to a climbing centre just off the pier where we had two hours of climbing. I especially liked the wall where you could race someone else to the top. There was also a leap of faith and an underground tunnel course. After our session finished we went down the road to Harry Ramsden’s for lunch. I had sausage, chips and beans; they were delicious!
