THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA • Theatre: TBA • Target Opening: TBA • Music by Elton John. Lyrics by Shaina Taub. Book by Paul Rudnick. • Cast: TBA • Being produced by Bob Cohen of Fox Stage Productions and Kevin McCollum • New musical based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel and the 2006 film about a woman who becomes assistant to the notorious editor of a topline fashion magazine. The Chicago pre-Broadway tryout will star Beth Leavel as Miranda Priestley and Taylor Iman Jones as Andy. It is scheduled to begin performances July 2021 at Broadway in Chicago’s CIBC Theatre.
