5 BMO HARRIS

BMO HARRIS BRADLEY CENTER 1001 N. Fourth St. Milwaukee, WI 53203 (414) 227-0500

The 2014-15 season will mark the 27th year the Milwaukee Bucks have called the BMO Harris Bradley Center home, making the venue the second oldest non-renovated arena in the NBA. Over nearly three decades, the 20,000-seat sports and entertainment facility has hosted over 5,000 events and welcomed over 40 million guests. Along with the Milwaukee Bucks, the BMO Harris Bradley Center is also home to the Marquette University Men’s Basketball team and the Milwaukee Admirals AHL hockey team.

When originally built in 1988, the $91 million structure was a gift to the Milwaukee community and state of Wisconsin from the late Jane Bradley Pettit and her husband, Lloyd, in honor of her father, Harry Lynde Bradley. To aid in its construction, the City of Milwaukee contributed $10 million for land acquisition. While the initial financing of the Bradley Center is unique among NBA arenas, the gift did not include provisions for the long-term capital needs or operating expenses of the facilities unlike other modern NBA venues. In an effort to generate additional revenue, in May of 2012 the naming rights were sold to BMO Harris Bank, one of the Midwest’s largest banks and an integral part of greater Milwaukee.

As part of the commitment made by the new ownership group, the entire Bucks organization plans to work closely and on an accelerated timeline with community leaders to develop a new sports and entertainment complex that will revitalize downtown Milwaukee. A state-of-the-art arena has become the standard for all NBA teams to continue providing the best fan experience for supporters, and has served as the anchor for many metropolitan market transformations.

However, even though the Bucks will be in a new arena within the next several years, the new leadership has made improving the fan experience at BMO Harris Bradley Center an immediate priority. This season, the arena will upgrade its Backcourt Club and Palermo’s Pizza Courtside Club to give fans a place to eat restaurant-quality food inspired by Wisconsin and network with one another in comfort and style. The 400 level will also offer a brand new interactive experience set to open an hour before each Bucks game. This “indoor tailgate” experience is designed to provide games such as cornhole, hoop shoot, ping pong and foosball. In addition to these classic party games, the section will have a state-of-the-art viewing experi- ence for fans.

7 COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY

BUCKS CARE The Milwaukee Bucks are making community engagement a defining element of the path back to greatness. Marc Lasry, Wes Edens and Jamie Dinan have made philanthropy and charitable work a significant part of their lives. Marc, Wes and Jamie have al- ways viewed non-profits and local organizations as the foundation for any community; they know the Bucks will only be as strong as the community they serve. As the Bucks become a driving force behind the transformation and revitalization of Milwaukee, part- nering with the community will be front and center.

Marc, Wes and Jamie made their vision clear from the outset, beginning with the appointment of John Steinmiller as Executive Vice President for Community Affairs and Social Responsibility. For over 45 years, Steinmiller has been a part of the Bucks organ- ization and served the community in countless ways. Now, for the first time, the Bucks will have an executive and department fo- cused on philanthropy.

“We are thinking about community affairs and philanthropy in a totally new way,” Steinmiller said. “Marc, Wes and Jamie want this department and all of our work to contribute to everything Milwaukee and Wisconsin are hoping to become. As someone who has been a part of the Bucks community work since 1971, I am very excited about the ownership’s broad vision.”

All those involved in the organization understand that the Milwaukee Bucks are one of the most visible presences throughout greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Thanks to that visibility, the players, staff, and owners are all united towards continuing the traditions of charity and outreach that have defined the organization and will grow into the future. Last year alone, Bucks players, coaches and staff members spent over 3,500 hours giving back to their neighbors.

The Bucks have participated in several long-term charitable partnerships with the MACC Fund, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Salvation Army, Special Olympics, Sam’s Hope Literacy Foundation and Habitat for Humanity, amongst others, and have participated in a number of back-to-school events, community service days and literacy outreach events at local libraries. The organization will ex- pand those efforts in the coming years.

The entire Milwaukee Bucks organization is dedicated to improving its community. For more information about the Bucks latest community events, please visit bucks.com/community.

The Bucks have contributed more than $1.3 million for cancer and blood disorder research since the inaugural MACC Fund game i n 1977, which became an annual event.

Since its inception in 1976, the MACC Fund has contributed $50 million to child- hood cancer and related blood disorder research. For more information, please visit www.maccfund.org.
