Det er med raske skritt vi nærmer oss slippet av Anna Calvis nye album ”One Breath”, oppfølgeren til den Mercury Prize- og Brit Award-nominerte selvtitulerte bestselgeren fra 2011.

Det er et fargerikt og selvsikkert album og en perfekt introduksjon til en ny fase i denne meget talentfulle musikerens karriere. ”One Breath” er et sårbart, reflekterende og mer personlig album som tar lytteren tettere inn på Anna og hennes sjel. Det har en balanse mellom optimisme og fortvilelse, skjønnhet og styggedom.

Låtskrivingen tok ett år og låtene ble innspilt i Frankrike og Dallas, Texas iløpet av noen intensive uker med John Congleton som produsent.
