INVC, Chandigarh, Satya Pal Jain, Ex-City MP and National Chairman of the BJP’s Committee on Legal Aﬀairs & Election Commission Issues, has said that the Address of Sh. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India to the nation on August 15, has won the hearts of crores & crores of Indians. He said that even those, who were critics of Sh. Modi before his this speech have appreciated his speech, which has inspired new conﬁdence in the whole nation. Sh. Jain was addressing the gatherings in Dhanas Colony, Labour Chowk, Sector 44, Community Centre, Sector 47 and Modern Housing Complex, in Manimajra, after unfurling the National Flag in connection with the Independence Day Celebrations. Sh. Jain also attended the Independence Day Celebrations, organized by Chandigarh Administration in Sector 17 and also ‘At-home’ organized by the Governor of Punjab in the evening in Raj Bhawan. Sh. Jain said that India by electing a Tea Vender’s son as the Prime Minister of India has shown as to how deep the roots of Indian democracy have gone in India. He said that Sh. Modi’s slogan that he will act more as the “Prime Servant” then as the “Prime Minister” is also an indicator to all elected representatives like MLAs and MPs and all the Bureaucrats that they should consider themselves and behave like “Sewaks” and not like “Rulers”. Sh. Jain was honoured by the ward Samiti of Sector 47 led by Sh. Davesh Moudgil Dy. Mayor of Chandigarh by presenting him a “Statute of the Goddess of Justice”.
