According to Ryan Sullivan, the GSA president, "the chalking done by the GSA [was] to make people feel safe ... ". Shortly after the chalking was done, however, quotes from Leviticus appeared underneath chalking done by the GSA. [n places such as Olin and the main gates, the phrase "You shall not lie with a male and with a female." - Leviticus 18:22 was chalked next to the GSA writings. Also, in Reimert courtyard an openly hateful phrase was scrawled in chalk, able to be viewed by the entire campus.
