The Deco is situated in the beautiful art deco building ‘The Old Savoy’ the theatre strives to provide an affordable theatre experience for all generations.
The Old Savoy is a truly historic building, restored by its current owners in 2007; the venue has an astounding past with performances over the years by The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
Supervised by English Heritage, the multi-million pound restoration combined the original, stunning art deco styling with state-of-the-art technology. The 900 seat auditorium provides an excellent viewing experience.
In 2009, local family production company, Stage Right Productions, took on the management of this fabulous venue, striving to provide an affordable theatre experience to enjoy with friends and family.
Situated in the heart of Northampton, The Deco Theatre continues towards the aim to provide the town with a much-needed family friendly venue that all ages can enjoy.
The theatre is proud to host a huge variety of live performances, entertainment, comedy and music acts - ensuring there is something to suit all ages, cultures and tastes!
