Kids Eat Free in Denver/Boulder 2017 Kids Eat Free in Denver/Boulder 2017 Parents know dining out with the kids can be exhaustive and expensive, if you don't plan ahead. Stretching your family's dining dollars by eating at restaurants where kids eat FREE (or at a discount) is a foolproof way to keep your budget in check. An unexpected large tab can be quite frustrating, so inquire about requirements and/or restrictions before sitting down. (Offers are known to change frequently.) For a positive experience, follow these basic guidelines: • Promos are valid at participating locations -- dine-in only • Few discounts are available all day. Most have time restrictions, so check the clock first • Most FREE kids' meals must be ordered from a children's or select menu • Most offers are limited to kids 12 and under. However, many have younger age restrictions -- don't assume • Each FREE kid's meal requires the purchase of an adult entrée at regular price • Limit of one FREE kid's meal per paid adult entrée -- some, but not many, allow more than one meal per adult entrée • Discount cannot be combined with other offers, coupons or promos, and children must be present. The most popular days for Kids Eat FREE promos are Sunday through Wednesday, with Tuesday getting the top spot. It's not just the national chains that offer family-friendly deals. SUMMARY: The City has received a letter from Studley, the real estate brokerage firm representing the property owner at 5962 La Palma Avenue, requesting that the City consider the development of a JP Morgan Chase Bank on their property. The letter is provided as Attachment 1 to this report. The site is located at the southwest corner of Valley View Street and La Palma Avenue and has been vacant for over 10 years. Late last year, the subject parcel was rezoned from Neighborhood Commercial (NC) to Planned Neighborhood Development (PND) land use designation, which prohibits financial institutions and banks. The Broker has stated that they have exhausted attempts to find end users for his client’s property that are consistent with the goals of the new PND Zone and that meet the needs of his client. They have a ground lease offer from Chase to develop a free-standing bank. The financial institution use alone does not meet the requirements in the PND Zoning District to develop the commercial corner with retail uses that are lacking in the community.
