This knowledge has been gained working throughout the UK, North Sea, Caspian, Europe, the Middle East, Far East, Africa and India working for large integrated Subsea companies as a diver and supervisor in the field of Construction, Salvage & Inspection, Ian is responsible for contract management and tendering. Albert Mullard, SHEQ Manager/Advisor Albert has over 30 years experience as an experienced Health and safety practitioner, he has also been a Project manager, Diving supervisor and diver Having worked for major companies both onshore and offshore in the above roles, He is HSSE advisor on all SHEQ matters. Mark Ireland, Southern Area Manager Mark is the area manager for the south of England, he comes to HSSE from the Environment Agency where he was a diving manager for over 20 years, he runs all HSSE business in the South including contract management. Phil Keating, Company Engineer/Project Manager Phil a professional, enthusiastic and skilled Civil Engineer with an interest and specialty in marine projects and diving works. He is fully conversant with all modern construction software packages and systems including planning and surveying. A team leader and player who has a proven track record of problem solving in the most testing of environments and project conditions. Stephen Middleton, Diving Superintendant Stephen has more than 26 years experience in the cable and renewable energy sector having been an offshore construction manager, Beach master, client Rep and diving supervisor, he brings considerable knowledge to any offshore renewable project Steve has a focused and productive attitude to any job Toby Harris, Rope Access Manager Toby is a IRATA level 3 Rope Access Technician with more than 21 years experience in Roped access and working at height, he is also a HSE Part 2 Saturation diver and has worked in the offshore industry as a Project Manager, Project Engineer and team leader for Shell on large offshore construction works involving multiple teams of rope access technicians, he also has PCN NDT Level 2 status. Personnel HSSE has an experienced team of professionals working in our offices and sites, most members are employed on a full time basis, some are employed for specialist works on an as and when required basis. As a result of HSSE employees working at the forefront of IMR and construction projects for the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Telecommunications and Civil Eng sectors HSSE maintain a highly qualified and experienced work force with many having a multitude of trades. Registered in England No. 02366937 SUMMARY The North Wales Wind Farms Connection Project is a major electrical infrastructure development project, involving several wind farm developers and the local Distribution Network Operator – SP Manweb plc (SP Manweb). The development of on-shore wind generation in Wales is guided by the Welsh Government’s energy strategy, initially published in 2003. In their Technical Advice Note (TAN) 8: renewable energy (2005) the Welsh Government identified 7 Strategic Search Areas (SSAs) as potential locations for wind generation, of which area A is in North Wales. During the past 20 years, approximately 220 MW of wind generation (both onshore and offshore) have been connected to the SP Manweb distribution network in North Wales. Within the TAN 8 SSA A, SP Manweb is currently contracted to connect a further four wind farms[1] which have received planning consent and total 170 MW of generation. SP Manweb has a statutory duty to offer terms to connect new generating stations to its distribution system.

April 2012 UK’s National Implementation Measures submission – April 2012 Modified UK National Implementation Measures for Phase III of the EU Emissions Trading System As submitted to the European Commission in April 2012 following the first stage of their scrutiny process On 12 December 2011, the UK submitted to the European Commission the UK’s National Implementation Measures (NIMs), containing the preliminary levels of free allocation of allowances to installations under Phase III of the EU Emissions Trading System (2013-2020), in accordance with Article 11 of the revised ETS Directive (2009/29/EC). In response to queries raised by the European Commission during the first stage of their assessment of the UK’s NIMs, the UK has made a small number of modifications to its NIMs. This includes the introduction of preliminary levels of free allocation for four additional installations and amendments to the preliminary free allocation levels of seven installations that were included in the original NIMs submission. The operators of the installations affected have been informed directly of these changes. The allocations are not final at this stage as the Commission’s NIMs scrutiny process is ongoing. Only when all installation-level allocations for an EU Member State have been approved will that Member State’s NIMs and the preliminary levels of allocation be accepted.

    Background Paper 13: Community Infrastructure 13 February Gwynedd & Môn Joint Local Development Plan 2015 [Type text] Topic Paper 13: Infrastructure Background This is one of a range of topic papers prepared to offer more detailed information and explain the approach of the Plan to different topics and issues affecting the Joint Local Development Plan Area. This paper will look specifically at community infrastructure. It will explain the background which will help to identify the issues, objectives and options for the Deposit Plan. The Deposit Plan is the second statutory stage in the preparation of the Joint Local Development Plan (JLDP). The JLDP shapes the future growth of communities in the Joint Local Development Plan Area and will set out the policies and land allocations against which planning applications will be assessed. The Deposit Plan will be submitted to the Welsh Government, which will appoint an independent inspector to assess the soundness of the Plan in the Examination in Public. If the inspector considers the Plan to be sound it will be recommended for adoption. When adopted the JLDP will supersede the Gwynedd Unitary Development Plan (2009) for the Gwynedd Local Planning Authority Area and the Gwynedd Structure Plan (1993) and Ynys Môn Local Plan (1996) for the Ynys Môn Local Planning Authority. This topic paper can be read in isolation or in conjunction with the other Topic Papers and Background Papers that have been prepared to give a full picture the Joint Local Development Plan Area. You may refer to the Topic Paper as a basis for making comments about the Deposit Plan.

TEXT OF PETITION Nick Dekker calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to investigate the circumstances whereby it agreed that 60 hydro-power stations could be accredited for subsidy under the Renewables Obligation scheme and that generation capacity could be cut to below the 20megawatt qualification threshold at others to enable accreditation and whether, in the interests of electricity consumers, it will rescind these accreditations. 3.
