SECTION – 1 BRIEF INTRODUCTION RFP-NUDA 1 Introduction 1.1 Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA) was constituted on 24.03.2017 vide G.O.MS.No. 108, MA&UD DePartment, Government of Andhra Pradesh under powers granted under sections 3 and 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016, with the areas for a total area of 1644.17 Sq.Kms stretching from Nellore Municipal Corporation, Kavali, Guduru, Sullurupeta Municipalities and Naidupeta Nagarapanchayat and 156 villages in 21 mandals (i.e. 145 villages in 19 mandals in SPSR Nellore District and 11 villages in 2 mandals in Chittoor District). The population of NUDA region as per Census 2011 is 13.01 Lakhs 1.2 As said above the functions of NUDA will be governed by under Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act 2016 with the objective of achieving orderly (planned) growth and environmental up gradation wherever necessary.

Rc.No. 2560/D1/2017 Dated:15.02.2018 Sub: COMQAP– Prerana - Announcement of list of students for 4 day Training – certain instructions issued – reg. In view of achieving higher GPA to many students in the District, “Prerana” is launched and in continuation to COMQAP weekly tests, “Daily descriptive tests” are being conducted from 03.01.2018. Successively Screening test is conducted for the 10% of highly achieving SSC students from every school in the district on 12.02.2018. 283 students are selected on their performance in the Screening Test. A 4 day “Prarana” Program will be organised at SBVS Vidyalayam, Golagamudi, Venkatachalam Mandal from 20.02.2018 to 23.02.2018 in residential mode. List of students is annexed with this proceedings. • Training will be in residential mode and classes will be conducted from 7.00 am to 7.30 pm (with intervals) by experience subject experts. • Students will be trained in Hindi, English, Mathematics and Physical Sciences. • A guide teacher must admit the selected students to the training centre by 9.00 am on 20.02.2018 and receive the student after the training by 3.30 pm on 23.02.2018. (Teachers will not be given any accommodation) • Students must attend the training with their respective subject text books, note books and instrument box for classes. Headmasters here by instructed to prepare their students for training and take responsibility to send and receive students from the training centre with instruction to the students to carry books, blanket and dresses.

SAHANIVASA Rehabilitation of the flood affected families in Chittoor & Nellore districts. FLOODS IN NELLORE DISTRICT Rovon cyclone crossed the coast on 14th November, 2015, but a depression occurred in Bay of Bengal on the same day. So heavy rains started in the district and Nonstop rains are there from 15th morning and continued till 20th November. The rain fall recorded up to 52 CMs in 24 hours in the district. All the roads including National Highway got damaged. National highway at Manubolu (near Guduru) has washed out and nobody can go other side even by walk. Many vehicles are stuck both sides since 16th midnight. No connections between the villages and the towns as all the roads are filled up with 5 to 6 feet deep water. There is heavy damage in Gudur and Naidupet Divisions and more than 600 villages(including habitations) are drowned in water. All the villages in Tada, Chillakuru and Muttukuru mandals of our working area are the worst affected. No electricity, no drinking water and no communications. More than 6000 people are shifted to schools and cyclone centers. Government is providing them food packets and water. The people who are in the shelters to be there for next 10 days, because it is forecasting that the monsoon is also started subsequently. There are many irrigation tanks in Tada & Chillakuru mandals and 45 of those tanks are breached and the streams are flooded in to the villages. Because of heavy rains in uplands and the water from breached tanks has joined the Kandaleru river which is going through TADA, CHILLAKUR & MUTHUKUR Mandals and flooded in to the villages.
