2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of ,

3 represented in the General Assembly:

4 Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources 5 (Conservation) Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois 6 is amended by changing Section 805-510 as follows:

7 (20 ILCS 805/805-510) (was 20 ILCS 805/63a13) 8 Sec. 805-510. Public monuments and memorials. The 9 Department has the power to erect, supervise, and maintain all 10 public monuments and memorials erected by the State on 11 properties under the jurisdiction of the Department of Natural 12 Resources, except when the supervision and maintenance of a 13 monument or memorial is otherwise provided by law. Under the 14 power granted by this Section the Department shall (i) provide 15 a site in for the Winnebago County Vietnam 16 Veterans' Memorial and (ii) allow the Vietnam Veterans' Honor 17 Society to erect the Memorial of an agreed design. 18 (Source: P.A. 90-372, eff. 7-1-98; 91-239, eff. 1-1-00.)
