The Embassy of Japan donates books to QIASS

The Embassy of Japan in Qatar, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, recently presented a wide range of Japan- related books to the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS). The donation of the books, 97 in all, aims to further the understanding of Japan and its culture. The books include Japanese language textbooks, dictionaries and children’s books, and also cover literature, culture, arts and contemporary novels. The donation ceremony was held on April 17 at QIASS and was attended by Shingo Tsuda, ambassador of Japan to Qatar, Martin Reardon, Senior Director of QIASS, Don Mikel, Director of Language School, and Midori Mizuno, Japanese language Instructor.
