WFAN and All American Ford Partner to Give Away a Mustang GT Coupe Valued at Over $41,000 MEDIA ALERT WFAN And All American Ford Partner to Give Away A Mustang GT Coupe Valued At Over $41,000 New York, NY – Sports Radio 66, WFAN is teaming up with All American Ford in Hackensack, New Jersey this Saturday, January 26th to award a Grand Prize 2007 Mustang GT Coupe. The car giveaway is the culmination of the WFAN-All American Ford Pigskin Picks Contest, which ran in conjunction with the 2007-2008 NFL season. Each week, WFAN afternoon hosts, Mike and the Mad Dog (Mike Francesa and Chris Russo), made their predictions on the outcome of three NFL games based on the weekly point spread. One WFAN contestant was randomly selected each week to play along with Mike and Chris and automatically won a key good for a chance to start the Grand Prize Mustang. This Saturday morning at 11AM, WFAN key winners will gather at All American Ford’s showroom located at 520 River Street in Hackensack, New Jersey to draw their keys and try to start the engine to the Grand Prize Mustang GT Coupe. 63 keys will be chosen in all with only one key actually starting the car. The Grand Prize Drawing and Contest will be hosted by WFAN midday host, Joe Benigno, and former New York Giant linebacker Carl Banks. About WFAN Launched on July 1, 1987, WFAN was the nation’s first full-time sports formatted radio station and is the most listened to station of its kind. WFAN is home to Boomer and Carton in the morning 6AM-10AM, Benigno and Roberts middays 10AM-1PM and the number one rated Mike and the Mad Dog in the afternoon 1PM-6:30PM. WFAN is the current flagship station of four New York-area professional sports franchises, including the New York Mets, New York Giants, New Jersey Nets and New Jersey Devils. WFAN also provides sports headlines with the “WFAN 20/20 Sports Update” at the top of the hour, 20 minutes past the hour and 20 minutes before the hour. .

Favorite Caller: Lenny in Manhattan, even though he is a Cowboy and Celtic fan...two teams I despise. He is the most knowledgeable caller I have. Best Moment On -Air: Doing my first Tomorrow's Children /SIDS Radiothon back in March of 1996. Biggest Moment in New York Sports Since the FAN Has Been on the Air: The Rangers Stanley Cup win in 1994. Attributes the FAN's Success To: The fact that if you are a sports lifer like I am, there is nothing better than a 24 -hour sports call -in show station, like WFAN. Obviously, the great Imus in the Morning program has a made a tremendous impact, as have Mike Francesa and Chris Russo. *Joe, a.k.a. Joe from Saddle River, got his big break in radio in 1994, when he won WFAN's Fan Appreciation Day contest and was awarded a guest host spot on the station. He parlayed his one -shot spot (and his frequent call -in appearances on the Mike and the Mad Dog show) into an overnight host job at a small station in Elizabeth, New Jersey before being offered a full -time spot on the FAN.
