AKDO is a company built on a foundation of love, family and dedication. Over 30 years ago, our CEO, Hakki Akbulak decided to start a business with his brother. As a natural born entrepreneur, Hakki asked himself, “what does Turkey have that America needs?” The answer, in short, was this: beautiful, abundant, natural stone.

Porcelain Our comprehensive porcelain collections range in look from handcrafted to high-tech, making it easier than ever to achieve your desired finish. Custom Natural Stone Furniture Design high-quality, one-of-a-kind, natural stone furniture pieces that elevate your design aesthetic. Our furniture is made of AKDOLAM, an innovative solution for creating dramatic pieces that are remarkably lightweight. Customize size, stone type and finish, metal or wood finish, or edge treatment.

Glass AKDO offers 2 types of glass collections, Signature and Beacon. Our Signature Glass Collection is made of 8mm thick float glass while our Beacon Glass Collection is made of 4mm thick art glass. Both types of glass can be custom ordered based on color, shape and size. OUR OFFERINGS

Metal Both bold and reflective, AKDO’s offers a variety of metallic products from tiles, mosaics and metal inlay in natural stone provide unique enhancements to projects of all kinds. We have a variety of metal products in stock and can customize based on the needs of your project. OUR OFFERINGS

Carpet Our carpet is available in hand knotted, hand tufted and broadloom styles. Carpet materials range from wool, silk, bamboo silk, and Tencel to DuPont 6.6, a material that increases the longevity and allows for easier maintenance. Engineered Wood For centuries, wood floors have defined spaces with their inherently organic and elegant nature. Our Engineered hardwood floors come in unfinished and prefinished options. Custom colors and sizes can be produced based on the size of the project.

Laminate Flooring AKDO offers a variety of laminate flooring in a variety of colorways, presenting the ultimate solution to achieving the polished look of natural wood, at a price point suitable for budget-conscious projects.

THE PROCESS

Our associates are experts on assisting you through the process of specifying a project, from sampling through contracting and execution. We recognize the importance of understanding the vision and expectations of our clients and their projects, taking the time to ensure we are familiar with the design intentions, durability requirements, timeline and budget.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

AKDO’s in-house architects thoroughly review each project to determine the most economical approach to providing the highest quality product at the necessary quantities for the project. We provide our clients with specification sheets, installation guidelines, and technical testing data to ensure that the design team and firm specifiers have the necessary information to issue specifications with confidence.

MATERIAL INSPECTIONS

For large scale projects, AKDO goes above and beyond by offering the option to have the client join us during the material and quality control inspections. This can include freight and loading container verifications, visits with the architecture or design professionals, dry laying product for inspection, and visits to facilities, quarries, and processing plants.
