Slippery When Wet – the Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute City of Bristol Tennessee FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Darlene Cole, Venue Manager Wednesday, August 28, 2013 Department of Community Relations Phone: 423-764-4171 E-Mail: [email protected] Final Tribute Show of the Full Moon Jam Concert Series Features Slippery When Wet-The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute Slippery When Wet - The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute is coming to Bristol’s Downtown Center on Thursday, September 5, 2013. The show will begin at 7:00PM and as always it is free to the public. Slippery When Wet was formed in 2003 by Jason Morey after answering many inquiries of "Are you Jon Bon Jovi?". Most notably comedian Dave Chappelle invited Jason backstage following one of his comedy shows thinking that he was the New Jersey icon. It was then that Jason knew he had to take advantage of the resemblance. Slippery When Wet has played to many packed houses throughout the Southeast and has quickly become the top draw at many of their regularly scheduled shows. The band’s shows are the most attended and highest grossing of any Bon Jovi Tribute in the country. In 2007 the band was officially authorized by Bon Jovi to perform their highly entertaining show. “Their drive, musical ability, showmanship and dedication to duplicating the Bon Jovi live experience simply cannot be outdone,” said Darlene Cole, Venue Manager for the city. The Downtown Center is located at 810 State Street, in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. “Over 1,000 chairs are available for seating, but if you want to bring your own chair you can. Just get there early. We are expecting a full house. We had people showing up at the last tribute series at 4:30,” continued Cole. Vendors will be on site along with the usual concessions as well as bathroom accommodations. The Slippery When Wet show is the last of the Full Moon Jam Tribute Series for the season.     Rest and Refuge™ Rigid Core Flooring Suitable for installation on all grade levels Tips for a successful Installation: Most installations will need approximately a 10% cutting allowance added to the square footage of the room. Proper conditioning of the job site is necessary. Flooring planks should not be exposed to sudden changes in temperature. Store, transport and handle the flooring planks in a manner to prevent any distortions. Distortions will not disappear over time. Store cartons flat, never on edge. Ensure that the flooring planks are lying flat at time of installation. Installations of carpet, metal strips and other transition moldings should not push fully into the flooring and should allow for some slight movement wherever practical. Protect the floor from heavy-rolling loads, other trades, and movement of appliances by using sheets of plywood or similar. Rest & Refuge does not require acclimation unless the installation site conditions are colder than 32°F or higher than 100°F (35°C) for 48 hours before or during installation. Under these conditions a 4-hour acclimation period of the floor covering is recommended. Where the room is larger than 20’ (6.1 m) by 30´ (9.14 m) or 500 sq.ft. (46.45 sq.m.) a minimum of 1/2˝ (12.7 mm) expansion zone is required around the perimeter of the room as well as against any fixed objects or Multi-Purpose moldings must be used to compensate for this movement. In areas larger than 52’ by 52’ or 2,700 sq.ft. the use of T-moldings or Multi-Purpose moldings is required.
