On March 19, 2005, presented paper to the University of Michigan Law School entitled "Grutter's Diversity Analysis: Using Grutter v. Bollinger to Challenge Media Consolidation’s Impact on Diversity." This paper has been modified to incorporate the changes in the Supreme Court and will be finalized in the fall.

Sonia R. Jarvis. Book tentatively titled Through a Prism, Darkly: The Media’s Impact on Race and Politics in America Since the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which will examine the interaction of race, politics and the media over the past 30 years. The primary focus of the project is a major study of the means through which media and politics influence each other to affect race relations and public policies.
