• Ability to search Environment Agency website for flood warnings & alerts; • Awareness of the role of other agencies – Canals & River Trust, reservoir owners & owners of large balancing ponds; • Recruitment of more flood wardens to aid road closure process at regular flood locations; • Sandbags -v- flood barrier systems? LRF policy and broader delivery of information to property owners to encourage self- help; • Liaison with local communities prior to flooding; • Co-ordinated analysis, control & response from LCC operational control room at Croft Depot – including road closures and re-opening; • Clarity over criteria for flood investigations. Criteria for flood investigations
