 EASTERN Spices Company at Munnar –one day visit which helped to familiarize with the processing and quality aspects of spices production, processing and marketing. RAHMANIYA MANZIL,  Agricultural University (KAU), Thavanoor - NAYARAGADI, VADAKKEKAD Informed about various processing machines used in NHAMANGHAT (PO), agricultural food production and processing. , KERALA, 679563 Phone: +919645529840 E-mail: [email protected]  National Institute of Fisheries Post Harvest Technology and Training (NIFPHATT) - understood various techniques implemented across in fisheries sector.  Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (MILMA) - learnt about the technology of procuring and processing milk and the production of diary products.  BRISTO - the visit to the chocolates manufacturing industry at Palakkad and studied the making of various types of chocolates and candies.  Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) - learnt about fisheries sector, fish products development, entrepreneurial development in fisheries, different packaging materials and techniques, various preservation techniques used in the production of fish products.

CORPORATE TRAINING

1. ARJUNA NATURAL EXTRACTS, Ernakulam -attended 15 days In-Plant training. Practiced various extraction techniques, attended and supervised processing and packaging sections and learnt about the quality requirements of various products. 2. RF EXPORTS, Alappuzha - attended 15 days in-plant training including lab. As RF EXPORTS mainly deals with sea foods exporting, the training in their corporate production environment provided with ample chances to attend the labor training section and entrepreneur training section, to learn about sea foods, to familiarize the processing cycle of sea food, to attend the packaging section and to know more about quality requirements in the production of sea products.

OTHER TRAINING SESSIONS ATTENDED

 Attended fifteen day training in Red2Green Foods (R2G), a prestigious Food Technology training centre situated in Irinjalakkuda. During the period of training the institution provided intense training on HACCP, fssai laws, GMP, GHP, EDP, sensory analysis and plant level training on bakery and confectionaries. R2G is the newly established entrepreneur development sector of PILOTSMITH PVT. LTD., which is a leading manufacturer of food processing machines spread worldwide.  Attended one day training program on FISH FARMING conducted at PONNOOS aqua clinic and consultancy , Kerala.

ACHIEVEMENTS  Actively participated in academic activities including arts and sports, exhibitions, quizzes, etc.  Attended National seminar on “Importance and Relevance of Hygiene for a Food Handler” held at Naipunya College, Chalakkudy.  Active member of Kerala Food Technologists Association (Membership Number: 3110152006).  Attended one day workshop on “PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY” organized by the department of Food Science and Technology (School of Health Sciences), Calicut university.

 Attended National Expo of KEALA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (VAIGA).
