We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of this and everyschool shooting, and we stand in unwavering support of the survivors. We also stand in full solidarity with concerned educators nationwide. Today,school shootings are appallinglyroutine. Innocent lives of flourishingyoung people have been cut short, and students of everyage in countless communities are afraidtogotoschool. These students are our futureleaders. They and others, with amyriad of different perspectives, are also eager to change this paradigm by navigating our democratic processes, by engaging in respectful civic discourse, and by acting as catalysts for needed change, which we heartily applaud. Upperclassmen are housed on the first floor, allowing for more freedom and unstructured time, while the lower grade levels are on the second floor for a more structured, controlled environment in closer proximity to teachers. Multiple spaces for informal learning are incorporated throughout the building. Prosper High School New High School and Indoor Practice Facility Prosper Independent School District Prosper High School is the modern American High School - Texas style. This project is a $113.5 million, 590,000-square-foot behemoth, complete with a medical tech lab, a restaurant-worthy kitchen, a greenhouse, a broadcast studio, and an indoor football practice facility. Working under tight deadlines, our team completed the new high school along with a new sports arena, indoor practice space, and natatorium. This is the largest project to date for Prosper Independent School District.

In the semifinals of the district wrestling tournament, Leor was down seven points to his opponent from Hannibal. Late in the second period, Leor was injured by an illegal slam from his opponent. The referee gave him two options: He could have his opponent disqualified for the illegal move and automatically advance to the state finals or forfeit the match and allow his opponent to advance. Leor chose to forfeit the match and let his opponent move on to state. In a letter to the Ladue superintendent, Hannibal coach Derek Greening said, “I am not sure how many individuals and coaches would make the same decision. It takes an enormous amount of character and class to make a decision like this. In 16 years of coaching, I have seen many students default for much less to guarantee themselves a win.” This is just one instance that exemplifies Leor’s sportsmanship.
