What a wonderful achievement it was for our eventers to win the team silver medal, and then beaten only in a nail-biting finish that could so easily have given us the gold. They took it right down to the wire, and they did us proud, continuing our amazing tradition in the eventing world and leaving us a nation to be feared. The dressage - there is no end to the potential of our riders here. We have the talent and we have the horsepower to push on towards the medals - we achieved our highest-ever placing with 8th in the teams, and with just 2% in total between 6th and 8th place, we’re closing in on the top riders all the time. There is no doubting that the breeding we have here in Australia is simply equal to anywhere in the world, and our time is coming! The showjumping? Three Aussies in the top 25 and age is no barrier. Never give up, there’s Laurie Lever in there debuting at 60 years of age, achieving his Olympic dream, proving that anything is possible for the Aussie battler that will never say die. A copy can be obtained from the sales office. Delivery Where foals are still on the mare at the time of auction, they will be need to be collected immediately after they have been weaned. There will be no basic agistment charges until the time of weaning. Payments Purchasers’ attention is drawn to the conditions of sale that unless other arrangements are made through our office, terms are cash before delivery. This sale will be conducted on a GST exclusive basis only and the final price is subject to 10% GST. Where payments are made with Visa, Bankcard or Mastercard, a 3% surcharge will be made to cover the credit card settlement fee. We are unable to accept American Express or Diners Card. Regardez Moi has already made what we think is Australian history by scoring a perfect “10” for his piaffe. You have seen him coming - after all, Regardez Moi was Australian national medium dressage champion in 2004, blasting through the ranks to FEI wins of up to a tremendous 74%, NSW 2005 State FEI small tour horse of the year and winner of one of only two gold medals awarded by Dressage NSW for three performances over 70% Now, Regardez Moi is a legend in the making and we feel he won’t just be an Australian legend, but one that is honoured the world over. His sire Rubinstein is clearly one of the world’s leading sires of Grand Prix dressage horses while his dam is equally brilliantly bred, by Consul out of a mare by all-time dressage great, Donnerhall. Now rider Jan Brink has chosen the Briar son Biggles as his next international GP horse. Briar 899 has won numerous international medals. He has eight different breed society approvals, and has sired no less than five approved sons with two winning Sweden’s national stallion tests scoring 10s for rideability and gaits.
