Public hearing for the project was conducted on 22.12.2018, from 11.00 A.M onwards at Project site, Vedadri village, Jagagyapeta Mandal, Krishna district. The chairman of the public hearing was Sri. P. Baburao, IAS, District revenue officer and Joint Collector II, krishna District while the member convener was Sri M. Narayana, Environmental Engineer (FAC), APPCB, Regional office, .

Advertisement for the public hearing was notified in two prominent newspapers namely, Sakshi, a Telugu daily newspaper on 21.11.2018 and The New Indian Express (English), an English newspaper on 21.11.2018 (Copy enclosed in annexure).
