RCL propose to enhance Clinker production of the Cement plant by 0.3 MTPA for which limestone requirement is 0.5 MTPA. Due to presence of high silica zones, clay pockets and phyllites, mineral reserves have come down drastically in the operating captive limestone mines of Jayanthipuram cement plant.
