1. Introduction

Dear colleagues, The 5th International Conference on Multi-Component Reactions and Related Chemistry (MCR2011) hosted by (ZJU) will be held in Hangzhou, P. R. China, from November 14th to 17th, 2011. It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the conference and present your outstanding contributions to the science in the area of multi-component reactions and related chemistry. It will be expectative that this symposium will encourage all participants to share the newest research Zhejiang University results each other, promote academic exchanges and collaborations, and (http://www.zju.edu.cn/english/) enhance mutual friendship. This conference is in the continuation of four highly successful conferences on the same topic that were held in Munich in 2000, in Genova in 2003, in Amsterdam in 2006, and in Ekaterinburg in 2009, respectively. The academic program of the conference will consist of plenary lectures, invited lectures, oral and poster presentations. Hangzhou, the location of this conference, is renowned for its history and natural beauty. Being the capital of Zhejiang province, it is listed as one of the Eight Ancient Capitals of China. Here, picturesque landscape of lakes and hills, since ancient times, has been recognized as a famous city in the southeast China. Please let us enjoy the name of "paradise" for its prosperous material wealth and long history of culture and art. We are looking forward to welcome you in November in Hangzhou.

Registration Registration fee is 400 US$ for academic participants (2000 RMB for domestic participants), 200 US$ for graduate and undergraduate students (1000 RMB for domestic students), and 500 US$ for industrial participants. Accompanying persons (200 US$ for foreigner and 1000 RMB for domestic) are welcome to reception, banquet and one-day sightseeing. Registration form is attached.
