When is the Tasman Revival event happening at Park, Eastern Creek?

The Tasman Revival runs from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th November 2012.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster, visit www.ticketmaster.com.au or call 136 100. Tickets can also be purchased on event days at the main entrance, Gate A.

How much are admission tickets?

FRIDAY General Admission: $20.00 Students (13-17): $5.00 3 Day Admission: $50.00 Children 12 years & under are FREE of charge, however they must be accompanied and supervised by a ticketed adult at all times.

SATURDAY General Admission: $25.00 Students (13-17): $10.00 3 Day Admission: $50.00 Children 12 years & under are FREE of charge, however they must be accompanied and supervised by a ticketed adult at all times.

SUNDAY General Admission: $35.00 Students (13-17): $15.00 Family Pass (2 Adults & 2 Students): $75.00 Children 12 years & under are FREE of charge, however they must be accompanied and supervised by a ticketed adult at all times.

All prices include GST.

How much are tickets to the paddock?

General Admission tickets include complimentary Paddock Access.

Sunday 25th November Package is $95.00 per person including GST – track entry, parking, access to suite 5 and 6, where you will enjoy catering all day with a cash bar, sitting in the air conditioned comfort above the pits right on the straight! What time are gates open? Event finish times may be determined by the race schedule.

DRIVING FROM THE CITY

Approach via the and take the Reservoir Road exit to the Great Western Highway. Turn right (to go under the M4) then Turn left to get onto the Great Western Highway, and then left into Brabham Drive at the traffic lights opposite the Shell service station on the corner. Once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Chifley Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around the Gate A entry.

Alternatively, those travelling from the north of the city may take the M2 and M7 Motorways, exiting at the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek. Turn left onto the Great Western Highway, and then right into Brabham Drive at the Shell service Station. Again, once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Chifley Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around the Gate A entry.

DRIVING FROM PENRITH AND BLUE MOUNTAINS

Approach via M4 Motorway, take the Wallgrove Road exit, turn left onto Wallgrove Road, turn right onto the Great Western Highway, and then right again into Brabham Drive (Shell service station on corner). Again, once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Chifley Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around the Gate A entry.

DRIVING FROM SOUTH WEST SYDNEY

Option 1: Travel on the M5 and M7 Motorways, exit at Wallgrove Road, then turn right onto the Great Western Highway and then right again into Brabham Drive (Shell service station on corner). Again, once you reach the roundabout at the end of Brabham Drive (near the Chifley Hotel) turn right and follow Ferrers Road around the Gate A entry.

Option 2: Travel on the M5 and M7 Motorways, exit left at the Horsley Drive turn-off and then turn right onto Horsley Drive itself. Turn right onto Ferrers Road and follow it all the way until you reach the Gate A entry.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The nearest train station to the circuit is Blacktown, approximately 12km away. Check your local timetables to select the correct train to get you to Blacktown station. From there, take the 724 bus to Huntingwood Dr. (Opposite Integral Energy) and then walk to the circuit down Brabham Dr to Sydney Motorsport Park (Gate A).

Please note that this bus route has limited service on weekends. Those travelling via public transport to weekend events are advised to check relevant bus timetables.

Alternatively you can catch a taxi from Blacktown Station to the track (Gate A).

Will there be food and beverages available?

A range of food and beverage options will be available for purchase on site.

Will alcohol be sold at the event?

Yes, Alcohol is able to be purchased in “The ARDC Garage” above garage no. 50.

Alcohol and glass cannot be brought into the venue.

Is there disabled access on the site?

Yes, limited access is available. Designated disabled parking is available on site.

Can I gain access to the roof of the pits over the weekend?

General Admission includes access to the pit roof.

What categories are racing across the weekend?

There are races for all groups within the 5th Category (historic). They are listed as follows however the programme order is yet to be determined.

Will there be an Autograph session?

Some drivers from the Tasman era will in attendance on the Sunday and they will be based in the Memorabilia Marquee in the Paddock area behind the garages at the Control Tower end.

Is an event programme available?

Yes, an official Tasman Revival souvenir event programme will be available to purchase at the event for $10.

Is merchandise available for purchase at the event?

Trade stands will be located in the Paddock area behind the carports near the “Green Shed”.

Can I access information electronically?

There is a website dedicated to the Tasman Revival www.tasmanrevival.com. The organising club, the Historic Sports & Racing Car Association (HSRCA) also has a site www.hsrca.com. Information is also available on Facebook and Twitter (info to come).
