C 342/4 EN Offi cial Jour nal of the European Union 25.8.2021 V (Announcements) OTHER ACTS EUROPEAN COMMISSION Publication of a communication of approval of a standard amendment to a product specification for a name in the wine sector referred to in Article 17(2) and (3) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/33 (2021/C 342/04) This communication is published in accordance with Article 17(5) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/33 (1). COMMUNICATION OF A STANDARD AMENDMENT TO THE SINGLE DOCUMENT ‘Chénas’ PDO-FR-A1029-AM02 Date of communication: 7 June 2021 DESCRIPTION OF AND REASONS FOR THE APPROVED AMENDMENT 1. Geographical area In chapter I, section IV, point 1, the words ‘based on the 2019 Official Geographical Code’ have been added after ‘the following municipalities’. A reference to the 2019 official geographical code has been added and the list of municipalities updated. This amendment changes the wording but does not have any effect on the boundary of the geographical area of the designation. These changes are necessary as a result of mergers and splits among municipalities, or parts of municipalities, or name changes. The new wording ensures that the municipalities in the geographical area continue to be clearly identified in the specification. Point 6 of the single document has been amended to include these changes. A sentence has also been added to the effect that cartographic documents pertaining to the geographical area are available on the INAO website. The single document is not affected by this amendment. 2. Parcel area The first paragraph of point 2 of section IV has been replaced by the following provisions: ‘The wines are made from grapes grown on parcels located in the production area as approved by the National Institute of Origin and Quality (INAO) as part of the written consultation of the competent national committee completed on 17 July 2020’. (1) OJ L 9, 11.1.2019, p. 2. 25.8.2021 EN Offi cial Jour nal of the European Union C 342/5 The purpose of this amendment is to include the date on which the competent national authority approved changes to the demarcated parcel area within the geographical area of production. Demarcation involves identifying parcels within the geographical area of production that can be used in the production covered by the protected designation of origin. The single document is not affected by this amendment. 3. Area in immediate proximity In chapter I, section IV, point 3, the words ‘based on the 2019 Official Geographical Code’ have been added after ‘the following municipalities’. This editorial amendment allows the area in immediate proximity to be identified with reference to the 2019 version of the Official Geographical Code, published by INSEE. The boundaries of this area remain unchanged. The addition of this reference means that the definition of the area in immediate proximity can be legally protected and therefore cannot later be affected by mergers or splits among municipalities or parts of municipalities, or by name changes. The list of municipalities comprising the area in immediate proximity has also been updated, without changes to the boundary, to take into account the administrative changes made before 2019. The section of the single document headed ‘Further conditions’ has been amended accordingly. 4. Provisions concerning maturation In chapter I, section IX, point 2, the date ‘1 March’ has been replaced by ‘15 January’. The end date of the minimum maturation period for the wines has been brought forward from 1 March to 15 January of the year following harvest. This is due to early harvests becoming more common as a result of climate change, thus allowing earlier completion of the wine-making process. Bringing forward the end date of the minimum maturation period does not affect the quality of the wines. The climatic and soil conditions of the area mean that the gamay N grape develops early, thereby allowing the wines to be enjoyed young. As section X of chapter I states. ‘the wines are often drunk young’. Point 5 of the single document has been amended. 5. Placing on the market for sale to consumers In chapter I, section IX, point 5, the date ‘15 March’ has been replaced by ‘1 February’. As the end date of the minimum maturation period has been brought forward, the date for placing the wines on the market for sale to consumers has also been brought forward, from 15 March to 1 February. This amendment does not require any changes to the single document. 6. Transport between authorised warehouses Chapter 1, section IX, point 5(b), concerning the date from which the wines can be circulated between authorised warehouses, has been deleted. This amendment does not require any changes to the single document. The minimum maturation period has been reduced and the date on which wines are placed on the market has been brought forward. It is therefore necessary to allow the wines to be transported between operators sooner. There is no need to establish an earlier date before which the wines cannot be transported. PRESENTATION DU CONTEXTE Localisation du contexte, cours d’eau, activités et pressions La Grosne en aval de la confluence avec le Valouzin reçoit successivement les eaux de la Guye en rive gauche et du Grison en rive droite et se jette dans la Saône sur la commune de Marnay. L’occupation du sol est dominée par les prairies, les forêts et les terres arables. Le profil de la Grosne change progressivement vers l’aval en raison d’une pente plus faible et de la présence de nombreux barrages et retenues d’anciens moulins : les vitesses de courant diminuent, les hauteurs d’eau deviennent plus importantes, les herbiers apparaissent en période estivale. Le lit de la Grosne s’élargit nettement après avoir reçu les eaux de la Guye à Savigny‐sur‐Grosne.     Dossier de Presse « La Saône et Loire Propre » Une matinée Nature au service de la biodiversité Pour la seconde année consécutive, la Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs de la Saône et Loire adressait fin Janvier, un courrier aux responsables de territoires de chasse pour leur proposer de participer à l’opération « La Saône-et-Loire Propre ». 18 territoires ont répondu favorablement à cette opération de nettoyage des territoires. Prévue préférentiellement le Samedi 7 Mars (jour de l’opération « J’aime la Loire Propre » qui a inspiré l’initiative menée par la Fédération des Chasseurs), une majorité des chasseurs, en collaboration avec d’autres partenaires localement, iront ramasser les déchets présents sur leurs territoires à cette date. La carte jointe permet de localiser les communes sur lesquelles est envisagée l’opération. 15 territoires ont retenu le 7 Mars ; ci-dessous la liste détaillée des communes ainsi que des autres dates proposées par les responsables de chasse. Cette seconde édition de l’opération « La Saône et Loire Propre » s’appuie sur le réseau local des chasseurs qui organisent les partenariats locaux et le ramassage des déchets. Le rôle de la Fédération des Chasseurs est de communiquer sur les initiatives engagées par les chasseurs sur leurs territoires. Chaque année et sans attendre l’initiative de la Fédération, de nombreuses associations de chasse effectuent ce geste éco-citoyen de collecte de déchets sur des territoires fréquentés par des utilisateurs de la nature quelques fois peu scrupuleux du respect de l’environnement. La Fédération des Chasseurs a contacté les Mairies et les Communautés de Communes des territoires concernés afin que localement la démarche des chasseurs soit relayée, soutenue et facilitée (devenir des déchets).
