DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH September 2020 17 Standard Instrument Departures The SIDs are designed based on conventional navigation with the use of B-RNAV above the minimum vectoring altitudes (MVA). The SIDs are provided with GPS/FMS overlays. Many of the SIDs are restricted to either jets or to turbo-props/propeller-driven aircraft. Whenever SIDs require a procedure design gradient (PDG) higher than the ICAO- standard, an alternative SID with-out a raised PDG is available. It is not intended to use the standard approaches. Pilots may expect radar vectoring, the clearance to follow the transitions or combinations of both. The following approach types are available: • ILS including CAT II/III • RNP, including LNAV-, Baro-VNAV- and LPV-minima • VOR (for the southern runway 07R/25L only) Remark: the ILS-approach for the northern runway is published as „ILS-Z“ as long as the current ILS-approach for Berlin/Schönefeld is published. After deletion of the Schönefeld-procedures from the AIP, the BER ILS-approach will be renamed to “ILS”. SHOULD Aircraft with parking positions on aprons 1, 2, 2a, 3, 3a or 3b (north of the northern runway) will be guided to the northern runway 07L/25R, whenever possible. All other aircraft will generally be guided depending on the parking position: • With parking positions north of the virtual barrier to the northern runway • With parking positions south or the virtual barrier to the southern runway • To apron E depending on the taxi direction on taxiway P1 MAY • To the maintenance areas depending on taxi direction on taxiway T. Especially during arrival peak times a shift to the other runway may be necessary. The airspace class C will be deactivated or lower limits raised in areas shown on the departure side of the airport and activated on the arrival side. VFR traffic is informed via a dedicated VFR-ATIS and/or FIS and may operate in deactivated airspaces with-out ATC clearance. Re-activation is possible with a prenotification of at least 15 minutes. It regularly advised and monitored the Board of Managing Directors and was involved in decisions of fundamental importance to the company. In fulfilling its tasks, the Supervisory Board was supported by the audit committee, the committee for the commercial business, the personnel committee, the project committee and the conciliation committee. The committees thoroughly discussed the resolutions to be adopted and prepared recommendations for the decisions to be taken at the plenary meetings. The committee for the commercial business also provides general advice to the Board of Managing Directors on the further development of the commercial business. To this end, the committee was continuously informed about important projects in the commercial business. In the business year 2019, there were no changes to the composition of the Supervisory Board. The Board of Managing Directors reported to the Supervisory Board on the basis of quarterly reports in accordance with Article 90(1)(3) of the German Stock Corporation Law (AktG).
