HO ME 1 At the start of lockdown our team was overwhelmed with requests from schools and parents for bilingual help. Many parents worried about being able to support their children at home, as they felt their English wasn't good enough. One of the positives of lockdown for our bilingual children was that they had this chance to practise and improve their home languages with their parents. We decided to help them celebrate that and give families a reason to work together bilingually. Many of the poems in this book were written by children with help from their parents. All our support was online during this time, meaning that parents and children also had to learn new IT skills.
