The Franklin Regional Council of Governments is comprised of three bodies: the Council, acting as the representative body; the Executive Committee, acting as the executive body; and the Franklin Regional Planning Board, acting as an advisory body on regional planning issues and policies. Franklin Regional Planning Board

The Franklin Regional Planning Board (FRPB) is the advisory board for regional planning issues. Its primary role is to promote sustainable economic development; to protect public health, safety and welfare; and to conserve the natural and cultural resources in Franklin County. The FRPB membership consists of the chair or designee of the select board of each town in the Franklin Regional Planning District, a member of the planning board in each town, and up to 18 “Members at Large.” Members of the Board’s Executive Committee are annually elected from among the FRPB con- stituency.

RCOG is located at the F Transit Center 12 Olive Street, Green- field on the corner of Olive St. and Bank Row (Routes 5 &10). MILL STREET From the North and South: Take I-91 to Exit 26 in Greenfield. At the rotary, take the exit onto Route 2-A East. *Turn right at the second light onto River Street and follow for 0.8 miles (becomes Mill St). Turn left onto Bank Row at the light and take the next right onto Olive. The Transit Center is on the immediate right. From the West: Take Route 2 East to the I-91 rotary in Greenfield and take the second exit onto Route 2-A East. Then follow the directions to the Transit Center listed above.* From the East: Take Route 2 West to Greenfield, making a left at the light onto Route 2-A West toward Greenfield Center (on the French King Highway/High Street).
