Sugar Feather Farm has ducks for sale and we ship nationwide throughout the hatching season. You can mix and match your ducklings At Sugar Feather Farm, we take pride in shipping healthy baby waterfowl to satisfied customers on a weekly basis.
We specialize in ducks that are on the conservation list and/or ducks that we feel are useful, practical and great to have around. Duck eggs are packed with nutrients and wonderful in baking. Many find if have a chicken egg allergy, they are not allergic to duck eggs.
We are a farm who takes pride and care of all our fowl. Our fowl are treated with a "wholistic" approach. All of our waterfowl are fed an excellent customized diet for the best overall performance.

We are very excited to offer our Silver Appleyard Ducks. This is an fairly rare and unknown large duck breed. They are a heritage breed of duck on the conservation list under "threatened". They are raised for exhibition, feathers, pets, eggs and eating - so used for a triple purpose! They are one of the best layers of the heavyweight duck class averaging 220-265 a year! That egg production is simply amazing. The Silver Appleyard is a large, strong built duck that weighs between 8-9 pounds. The Cayuga is recognized as one of the hardiest of the domestic ducks and their coloring is simply stunning. They tolerate the harsh winters of the Northeast since they are from New York and are great layers and mothers. This is a dual-purpose breed, meaning they are used for egg production and meat. The meat of the Cayuga is reputed to be of excellent taste and quality. Cayuga ducks can lay 100-150 eggs per year that can be used for general eating and baking purposes.
