THE MAN ARMAGH IN THE MIDDLE Today's man in the middle is Oliver Hearty from St Laurence O'Toole Belleeks club with a referee career spanning over 30 years. In that time he has taken charge of numerous finals, including 3 Senior Championship Finals - the last one being in 2018 and in that year he received the Referee of the Year award. His appointment to the 2020 Intermediate Football Championship final is notable for two reasons; the Atty Hearty Cup which is presented to the winners, is named after his late Uncle Atty. This appointment also gives him the honour of having refereed all three major cup competitions in the county. We wish Oliver and his officials well in today's Intermediate County Final.
