The match started well with Chris Hickey lobbing the keeper for a first minute goal. Seniors lose out in Armagh Cathal O’Hara and Conn O’Neill then added two points each Our Senior squad travelled to Armagh with confidence high before Dromintee even got on the scoreboard. Apart from one following two league wins on the trot. They were brought down brilliant double save by Cathal Fearon in the Killeavy nets, it was with a bump however by an Armagh Harps side that were just all one way traffic and the first period ended with Killeavy that little bit more clinical over the hour. The u21s put aside their disappointment at being beaten in their opening round game by demolishing Pearse Og last Friday. This was a much better performance all round by the team though the man of the match was the visiting goalkeeper who kept his side in contention with at least six excellent saves. Our u14 footballers came comfortably through their quarter‐final against the Naomh Lorcan O’Neill’s amalgamation and will now play Derrynoose in the semi‐final. Although Derrynoose beat us early in the season, our squad have made stunning progress over the last few months and should really be up for the semi‐final. Camogie Association & GAA Information and Guidance leaflet on the National Vetting Bureau (Children & Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 March 2015 1 National Vetting Bureau (Children & Vulnerable Persons) Act The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012 is the vetting legislation passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas in December 2012. This legislation is part of a suite of complementary legislative proposals to strengthen child protection policies and practices in Ireland. Once the ‘Vetting Bureau Act’ commences the law on vetting becomes formal and obligatory and all organisations and their volunteers or staff who with children and vulnerable adults will be legally obliged to have their personnel vetted. Such personnel must be vetted prior to the commencement of their work with their Association or Sports body. It is important to note that prior to the Act commencing that the Associations’ policy stated that all persons who in a role of responsibility work on our behalf with children and vulnerable adults has to be vetted. This applies to those who work with underage players. (The term ‘underage’ applies to any player who is under 18 yrs of age, regardless of what team with which they play). The introduction of compulsory vetting, on an All-Ireland scale through legislation, merely formalises our previous policies and practices. 1 When will the Act commence or come into operation? The Act is effectively agreed in law but has to be ‘commenced’ by the Minister for Justice and Equality who decides with his Departmental colleagues when best to commence all or parts of the legislation at any given time.

The Project title; ‘Terrorism knows NO Borders’ aptly illustrates the broader point that we are seeking to make through our involvement in this work, namely that in the context of Northern Ireland terrorism and criminal violence was not curtailed to Northern Ireland alone but rather that individuals, families and communities experienced its’ impacts across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and beyond these islands. This Memorial Quilt Project does not claim to represent the totality of lives lost across Great Britain and The Republic of Ireland but rather seeks to provide some understanding of the sacrifices paid by communities, families and individuals who have been victimised by ‘Republican’ or ‘Loyalist’ terrorism. SEFF’s ethos means that we are not purely concerned with victims/survivors who live within south Fermanagh or indeed the broader County.
