• The Dolphins outscored the Jets 21-5 in the second quarter, taking a 21-12 halftime lead. • QB Ryan Fitzpatrick became the first Dolphins QB since at least 1991 to throw for three in the second quarter of a game. • Fitzpatrick is only the fourth Dolphins QB since 1991 to throw for three touchdowns in a single quarter. The last Dolphins player to do that was QB Ryan Tannehill in the first quarter on Oct. 25, 2015 vs. Houston. • Miami’s 21 second-quarter points are the team’s most in the second quarter since Sept. 28, 2014 at Oakland (in London). • DT had an important sack in the first quarter. On a third-and-3 snap from Miami’s 22-yard line, Wilkins brought down QB for a loss of 9 yards. The sack forced the Jets to attempt a 49-yard , which was wide right and Miami utilized the good field position to tie the game with a on the ensuing possession. • It was the first sack of Wilkins’ career. • WR capped off a 7-play, 61-yard drive with a 12-yard touchdown reception from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to tie the game at 7 early in the second quarter. • Williams caught another touchdown, a 5-yarder from Fitzpatrick, with 1:51 left in the second quarter to give the Dolphins a 21-7 lead. • With his two touchdown receptions, Williams became just the fourth Dolphins player since 1991 to ever catch 2+ touchdowns in the second quarter of a game and first since had two on Dec. 24, 2005 vs. Tennessee. Chambers caught 2+ touchdowns in the second quarter three times in his career. • It was the second and third touchdown receptions of Williams’ career. • As of the end of the 1 p.m. games, Williams is tied for the NFL rookie lead with 32 receptions and is third with 428 receiving yards. His three receiving touchdowns are tied for fourth.

KTREAKREAK PARKER SCORES FOURTH TD IN FIVE GAMES

• WR DeVante Parker recorded his fourth touchdown reception in the past five games with a 17-yard score in the second quarter. • The touchdown capped off a 12-play, 84-yard drive that took 5:16 off the clock and gave the Dolphins a 14-7 lead. • Parker has now tied his career high with four touchdown receptions. He also had four in the 2016 season. • It was Parker’s fourth touchdown reception in his past five games. Parker’s four TD receptions since Week 4 are tied for the second-most in the league even though the Dolphins had their bye during that span.

GESICKI HAS CAREER DAY

• TE had the best game of his NFL career today, leading the Dolphins in both receptions (6) and receiving yards (95). • His six receptions and 95 receiving yards were both career highs. KTREAKREAK DOLPHINS LEAD THE NFL IN FEWEST PENALTIES

• The Dolphins had just six penalties for 51 yards this evening. It marked the seventh consecutive game the Dolphins have had six or fewer penalties and 55 or fewer penalty yards. • As of the end of the 1 p.m. games, Miami leads the NFL with just 45 penalties and 370 total penalty yards this season. • The most penalty yards committed by the Dolphins in a game this season is 64. • There were 59,229 tickets distributed in today’s game. • WR played in his 75th NFL game today. • LB Raekwon McMillan had eight tackles (two solo) today. He now has 39 tackles (18 solo) in his past five games. • CB Jomal Wiltz recorded his first career today, picking off Jets QB Sam Darnold on the Dolphins’ 1- yard line with less than a minute remaining in the first half. • CB recorded his first career sack today, bringing down Jets QB Sam Darnold for a 7-yard loss in the fourth quarter. • LB had three more quarterback hits today, giving him a team-leading 10 on the season. Biegel entered the game averaging a quarterback hit for every 26.4 defensive snaps played, the 10th-best mark in the NFL. • The Dolphins forced a Jets safety in the fourth quarter.
